Furthermore, Wandering Death can create wind pools that make certain areas equally treacherous. Players must remain mobile and avoid staying in one place for too long, given the creature's focus on area-of-effect attacks.

As with all world bosses, the monster's attacks become more frequent and powerful as its health wanes, so players must be cautious as it weakens. After defeating Wandering Death, players can receive various rewards, including legendary gear, weekly bonuses, and loot such as gold and gems. Although it is perhaps the rarest of the three world bosses, it is generally considered the easiest to defeat if players are at a sufficiently high level.

2 Avarice, The Gold Cursed

Found commonly in the Seared Basin, Avarice is a colossal ogre-like creature that boasts formidable horns and chains bound to its body. As the battle progresses, the chains holding Avarice will wear away gradually, rendering it more lethal and powerful. Despite wielding a massive chest of gold, Avarice is susceptible to considerable damage from weaponry at close quarters. Players can also trigger crowd control effects to stagger Avarice, immobilizing it temporarily. However, players must keep their guard up since two treasure goblins will spawn during the stagger period, and it is best to prioritize attacking the boss during this time.

During the battle, Avarice becomes particularly deadly when it uses its portal charge ability, teleporting randomly around the battleground. After emerging from the portal, Avarice will have an increased damage bonus, so players should avoid the portals and use the time to regroup instead. Avarice's range of melee attacks is supplemented by its ability to vomit molten gold, which hits players from a distance. Players must be vigilant and avoid the lava-like substance on the ground to avoid taking damage.

1 Ashava, The Pestilent

Players must exercise caution when facing the giant dragon Ashava in The Crucible of the Fractured Peaks region. Poison-resistant gear is highly recommended, as she primarily inflicts poison damage. In addition to her ranged attacks, Ashava possesses powerful melee attacks like the Double Swipe and Ground Pound. However, players can avoid these attacks once they learn the attacking animations. Ashava has a massive health bar, making this fight one of the toughest in the game. Mobility is key when facing her, as she can be staggered and will lose her arm blades permanently when triggered.
