Where To Download Convergence Mod For Elden Ring
The Convergence Mod for Elden Ring can be downloaded primarily from NexusMods. While NexusMods provides a Mod Manager, it is not required for the Convergence Mod.
To access the mod's home page on NexusMods, simply click on the "Files" tab located below the mod's tags. You will find two options available: Convergence ER Downloader (the regular and recommended file) and Convergence ER 1.2 (an updated beta version of the mod).
How To Install The Convergence Mod
Opt for the Convergence ER Downloader option for a more reliable download experience instead of the beta version. After clicking on it, simply wait a few seconds before manually placing the Convergence ER Downloader anywhere on your PC. Remember to create a NexusMods account before completing this step.
To easily install the Convergence Mod, simply double-click the Convergence ER Downloader file. This action will automatically launch a new program. To ensure a smooth installation, you will need to designate a folder for unpacking the mod's files. Before selecting the folder by clicking on the "Browse" button, it is recommended to create a new folder exclusively for the Convergence Mod.
Anywhere on your computer (preferably in a dedicated Mods folder), create a new folder specifically for Convergence. Afterward, return to the Convergence Downloader, click on "Browse," and choose the recently created folder as your designated destination. Finally, select "Download and Unpack" on the Convergence installer.
Updating and unpacking the files for the Convergence Mod can be a time-consuming process. Once it is finished, navigate to your designated Convergence folder and open the new ConvergenceER folder. Inside, you will find an executable file named "launchmod_eldenring".
To enjoy the Convergence Mod, launch Elden Ring using this executable file instead of Steam. It is advisable to create a shortcut for easy access to the mod by dragging the executable file to your desktop. Although not necessary, some users have found that keeping Steam open in the background can assist with a smooth mod launch.
Before launching the Convergence Mod, it is advisable to create a backup of your original saved files located in the Elden Ring folder under C/Users/<yourname>/Appdata/Roaming. Additionally, playing in Offline mode is highly suggested to prevent any possibility of being banned for inappropriate activity and to enhance overall loading speeds.
