Elden Ring Invader's Epic Water Wheel Fail Goes Viral!

An amusing Elden Ring PvP moment unfolds as a hapless invader becomes trapped in an endless loop on a colossal water wheel, resembling a frantic hamster

In the world of Elden Ring, a player experienced sheer delight as they witnessed their PvP invader trapped in an endless loop, running on a colossal water wheel. Released in 2022, FromSoftware's open world masterpiece, Elden Ring, achieved immense success and received widespread acclaim, ultimately earning the prestigious title of Game of the Year at The Game Awards.

Although Elden Ring offers an expansive and immersive single-player experience, it also caters to those seeking thrilling PvP challenges. Players can utilize a range of finger items discovered throughout The Lands Between to invade the worlds of other players. In the host's realm, the invading player takes on the form of a red spirit, engaging in intense battles that often end in death. In December 2022, the addition of the Colosseum in West Limgrave, Caelid, and Leyndell provided a dedicated battleground for PvP duels. However, even with this designated area for combat, players continue to relish the invasion feature, allowing these encounters to unfold in various locations within the open world.

Reddit user Esbidee shared a captivating 30-second video showcasing an intense encounter at the mysterious Raya Lucaria Academy in Liurnia. The host player executed a powerful move called the Shield Crash Ash of War, propelling the invader off a ledge with a forceful shield strike. The invader, landing on a massive water wheel, quickly regained their footing and frantically raced away as the wheel began to roll. Meanwhile, the host player, disguised as the notorious Elden Ring character Patches, gleefully observed the invader's futile attempt to escape while perched on the ledge.

The fate of the invader remains uncertain as the clip concludes with them still running on the wheel. Esbidee did not provide any additional information, leaving us to speculate. It is plausible that the invader eventually grew exhausted and tumbled off the wheel. Alternatively, if they managed to reach the far end of the wheel, they might have had a slim chance of finding a means of escape. However, this would require a daring leap, making success highly unlikely. Seasoned adventurers who have explored the depths of Raya Lucaria understand the peril that awaits beneath the colossal wheel: the dreaded Abductor Virgin. This fearsome creature possesses a brutal grab attack that teleports its victims to the treacherous Volcano Manor in the fiery landscape of Mt Gelmir, introducing a whole new set of challenges to overcome.

With the upcoming release of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, Elden Ring players continue to find new and entertaining ways to immerse themselves in the game. Even after a year and a half since its launch, the community still discovers hidden gems and enjoys amusing encounters with fellow players in The Lands Between.

Elden Ring is currently accessible on various platforms including PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
