The Necromancer class in Diablo 4 offers players a wide range of possibilities for solving problems either alone or with their self-created companions. However, the abundance of options available may prove overwhelming, especially for those new to the game. To aid in the process of creating a strong class setup for leveling or endgame farming, players can benefit from the use of Legendary Aspects. These Aspects provide valuable benefits to buildcrafting and can help players make informed decisions about which ones to include in their Necromancer builds.
1 More Skeletons
By utilizing the Blood Getter's and Viscous Aspects, necromancers have the ability to raise their maximum caps for Skeletal Warriors and Mages. With both Aspects, the total count of minions can reach up to 12 (13 if including Skeletal Skirmishers).
However, these Aspects cannot be unlocked at the Codex of Power. Players must engage in farming activities and dungeons or purchase Obols from a vendor in order to obtain an item that contains one of these Aspects.
2 Aspect of Frenzied Dead
Increasing the attack speed of minions upon hitting enemies is a crucial factor in minion builds, and the Aspect of Frenzied Dead serves as a reliable option. In a Blight build that utilizes Shadow Mages, this aspect proves to be even more effective as it enables the Shadowblight Key Passive to trigger more frequently with faster attacks. However, it should be noted that the Aspect of Frenzied Dead cannot be unlocked and can only be obtained randomly from any valid loot source in the game.
3 Aspect of Rathma's Chosen
For Blood builds that rely on the Overpower mechanic to unleash devastating burst damage, Aspect of Rathma's Chosen is a must-have. This Aspect boosts the Necromancer's attack speed each time one of their Blood abilities Overpowers, making it particularly effective in a Blood Lance build designed for taking down bosses. Similar to the previous two Aspects, Rathma's Chosen cannot be unlocked and is only available as a random roll on gloves, accessories, and weapons.
4 Blighted Aspect
Equip Blighted Aspect when using Shadow Skills as it can boost your damage by up to 120% for 6 seconds after triggering the Shadowblight passive 10 times. This buff enhances all damage and can be combined with skills such as Blood Nova or Bone Spirit for rapid AOE burst damage. Obtain Blighted Aspect by successfully completing the Akkan's Grasp dungeon in Hawezar. Note that all Codex of Power Aspects come with minimum power.
5 Edgemaster's Aspect
Edgemaster may not be designed solely for Necromancers, but it complements the Bone Spear Build and Bone Spirit, along with the Ossified Essence Key Passive, quite effectively. As long as players maintain their Essence levels, they can unleash significant bursts of damage with every ability cast, particularly if they land Critical Hits. Obtain Edgemaster's Aspect by venturing into the Oldstones dungeon in Scosglen.
There are many more Necromancer Aspects, but the majority of the strongest ones are not available in the Codex of Power. Keep an eye out for the following while farming for items:
Osseus Gale -
Bone Storm consumes Corpses to increase its duration
Explosive Mist -
Blood Mist detonates Corpses, and it reduces its own cooldown per exploded Corpse
Hungry Blood -
Blood Lance has a chance to fire another projectile after hitting a lanced enemy
Serration -
Ossified Essence also increases Critical Hit Damage per point of Essence
Diablo 4 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
