The Diablo 4 Rogue class is a deadly and nimble force, with a focus on quick strikes and high burst damage. While it may not have the endurance of other classes, its agility and speed more than make up for it. Players who enjoy utilizing bows and daggers in a stealthy manner will find this class to be a perfect fit, especially as they progress further in the game.
However, creating a Rogue character from scratch can be daunting, as many of its passive skills require the use of status ailments. For those new to this class, we have compiled a list of the best Legendary Aspects to help them get started on their journey in Diablo 4.
1 Bladedancer's Aspect
One of the Rogue's most powerful Core Skills that cannot be ignored is Bladedancer's Aspect. This Aspect causes Twisting Blades to rotate around the player for a brief period upon return, allowing it to deal more damage. When paired with Shadow Imbuement, it can easily eliminate long lines of enemies or even entire rooms.
To obtain Bladedancer's Aspect, players must complete the Jalal's Vigil dungeon located in the northeastern region of Scosglen. Additionally, this Legendary Aspect may also be obtained by chance from chests and monsters, often with superior stat rolls.
2 Ravager's Aspect
Enhancing the mobility and potency of Shadow Step, the Legendary Aspect offers an extra charge, bonus damage upon killing enemies, and the unique ability to replenish charges upon each kill. This proves to be a valuable asset in encounters with numerous low-level enemies or powerful elites with area-of-effect abilities. When utilized in conjunction with Aspect of Synergy, the damage dealt by Shadow Step is further amplified. It's worth noting that Ravager's Aspect is not readily accessible through the Codex of Power, and can only be obtained through fortuitous loot drops on Boots and Amulets.
3 Aspect of Quickening Fog
The Rogue can utilize the Quickening Fog to their advantage by deploying a Smoke Grenade for free after using their Dash ability. The resulting explosion will Daze any foes caught in its blast, rendering them defenseless and vulnerable to the Rogue's deadly passive abilities. Moreover, this tactic can be amplified by any enhancements applied to the Smoke Grenade, such as its Skill Upgrades or the Explosive Verve Aspect. However, it's worth noting that this technique cannot be learned from the Codex of Power and is only obtainable through chance drops on legendary weapons, gloves, rings, and amulets.
4 Ravenous Aspect
After eliminating a Vulnerable target, Ravenous can significantly boost the Rogue's Energy Regeneration Rate. It complements the class' popular builds, which often focus on keeping enemies in a Vulnerable state. This Aspect is a straightforward but potent addition that players should seriously consider, particularly those who enjoy utilizing Combo Points and Preparation Specializations. To acquire Ravenous Aspect, players need to complete the Shifting City dungeon in the Dry Steppes with any character.
5 Aspect of Surprise
When a Rogue Evades or uses Dash, they trigger the utility/defensive Aspect that results in Stun Grenades dropping. While the grenades may not cause significant damage, they are valuable for Crowd Control purposes. Rogues can use this accessible Stun to activate their passives when facing Crowd-Controlled enemies. Unfortunately, unlocking Aspect of Surprise is not possible through the Codex of Power and requires players to rely on random drops or extract the power from legendary gear.
Skill-Specific Aspect Recommendations
This Legendary Rogue Aspect enhances the effectiveness of the class' Core Skill, Blade Flurry. It increases the number of hits that can be made with each use of the skill, making it a devastating attack against multiple targets.
