Acer has introduced its initial lineup of AMD Radeon graphics cards, including the Predator BiFrost Radeon RX 7600 and the 7600 OC. However, those eagerly anticipating a BiFrost version of the Radeon RX 7900 series will have to wait a bit longer.
Last year in October, Intel launched its Arc series GPUs, and Acer eagerly joined as one of its original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partners. Acer's debut GPUs, the Predator BiFrost Intel Arc A770 and Arc A750, made a unique statement with their distinct fan design. These GPUs employ a blower-style cooling solution, utilizing a vapor chamber to optimize airflow, with two fans to effectively dissipate heat. The smaller fan measures 70mm, while the larger fan is 92mm, resulting in excellent cooling performance for the Arc A770 GPUs.

Based on the specifications, it appears that the cooling system used in the BiFrost cooler design should be capable of effectively cooling both the 170W and 180W Radeon cards, as it is the same system used in the BiFrost Intel Arc cards. This design has already demonstrated its efficiency with the power-hungry Predator BiFrost Intel Arc A770 OC, which has a TDP ranging from 250W to 285W. Therefore, in theory, the BiFrost cooler design should have no difficulty handling the heat generated by these Radeon cards.
