Ethan Page and The Gunns v. The Hardy Party

This year's Double or Nothing marks the fifth installment of the highly anticipated event. A number of AEW's recent signings will be in action, battling it out for championship gold. However, the main event will feature four AEW originals competing for the World Championship. With the announcement of a new AEW show, the event may serve as a turning point, dividing competitors towards one show or the other.

The feud between Ethan Page and Matt Hardy has been brewing for months, with Isiah Kassidy caught in the middle. Page and his group, The Firm, had Kassidy and Matt under contract, subjecting them to months of abuse. However, the tables turned when Jeff Hardy and HOOK joined forces with Matt and Kassidy, leading to a victory over Page, Lee Moriarty, Big Bill, and Stokely Hathaway. Seeking revenge, Page has enlisted Colten and Austin Gunn to help him settle the score. Matt, still holding a grudge, has proposed a high-stakes match at Double or Nothing, where if he, Jeff, and HOOK emerge victorious, Page's contract will be in his hands. The upcoming ladder match for the TNT Championship between Wardlow and Christian Cage promises to be a thrilling encounter. Jade Cargill has been on a historic reign as the TBS Champion, holding the title for over 500 days and maintaining an undefeated record of 60-0. However, her next challenger, Taya Valkyrie, has been a thorn in her side since joining AEW. In their previous championship match, their shared finisher was disabled, preventing Valkyrie from securing the win. Adam Cole v. Chris Jericho

Orange Cassidy's International Championship is on the line at Double or Nothing in a 21-man Blackjack Battle Royale, adding another layer of complexity to his already impressive reign. Having successfully defended his title against over 20 competitors, including Aussie Open's Kyle Fletcher, Cassidy is no stranger to the pressure of retaining his championship. However, the battle royale presents a unique challenge that could potentially drain Cassidy, putting his reign at risk.
