Diablo 4: How to Make a Seasonal CharacterDiablo 4: How to Start Season 1
Diablo 4's first season is now live, and players looking to dive into its content must create a seasonal character. Although the process may appear daunting, this guide aims to clarify any confusion, providing step-by-step instructions on how to create a seasonal character and embark on Diablo 4's Season of the Malignant.
Diablo 4: How to Make a Seasonal Character
To create a seasonal character in Diablo 4, start by selecting "Create a New Character" on the main menu. Then, choose your preferred class, customize your character's appearance, and click on "Finalize." This will take you to a menu where you can select your desired Gameplay Settings and character name. Once you have filled in these fields, click on "Start Game."
Upon clicking "Start Game," a window called "Hero Realm Selection" will appear, offering two options to choose from. These options are Seasonal Realm and Eternal Realm. For access to the Season of the Malignant's new content, select Seasonal Realm to create a character capable of engaging with it.
To ensure access to seasonal content, players are recommended to bypass Diablo 4's campaign by selecting the corresponding option during character creation. This option can be found in the Gameplay Settings section, and becomes available once the campaign has been successfully completed.
Diablo 4: How to Start Season 1
After creating a seasonal character and skipping or completing the campaign, players can quickly dive into the exhilarating Season of the Malignant content. As soon as their character enters the game, fans will be thrilled to embark on the first Season Quest, titled Burning From Within, which can be advanced by interacting with Vytran in Kyovashad.
Players are not obligated to begin the Season of the Malignant by engaging in its quests. They may instead choose to spend time advancing in dungeons and the overworld. However, it is recommended that they eventually complete the seasonal quest line as it introduces them to the central mechanic of the Season of the Malignant, which involves battling Malignant Monsters. These creatures drop Malignant Hearts that can be used to enhance jewelry and obtain different bonuses.
Diablo 4 can now be played on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
