AEW Fight Forever could benefit from the inclusion of more match types and features, with one particularly challenging addition being AEW's take on WWE's Royal Rumble, known as the Casino Battle Royale. In this unique version, 21 wrestlers duke it out for a chance at the coveted world championship. Each time a wrestler is eliminated, a new competitor enters the ring to join the fray.

Similar to the Royal Rumble, the primary objective is to toss opponents over the top rope and avoid being eliminated oneself. Alongside the singles variant, AEW Fight Forever also boasts a team version of the battle royale. Teams consist of four wrestlers, with the added twist that if a team member is eliminated, players can still proceed in the match as the remaining team members.

In AEW Fight Forever's Road to Elite career mode, the initial match is the Casino Battle Royale. While winning isn't necessary to progress, a victory in this opening bout will earn the player's character a title shot in the story mode. To maximize chances of winning, it is crucial for players to select the right opponent. The following wrestlers are recommended choices for emerging victorious in the Battle Royale:

Paul Wight - An unlockable character in AEW Fight Forever, Paul Wight stands out as a battle royal specialist. Equipped with the Battle Royale and Elimination buffs, he gains momentum for lasting over five minutes and eliminating opponents. Additionally, Wight possesses the Guard Break skill, allowing him to surpass an opponent's guard and toss them over the ropes. His 2-for-1 attack buff increases momentum when grappling two opponents simultaneously, while the Back Against the Wall buff intensifies his momentum when pushing foes against the ropes. Lastly, Wight's Unyielding Poise skill enables him to resist slams and staggering due to his added weight detection.

Cody Rhodes possesses exceptional striking abilities, a strong ability to counterattack, resilience even when in a disadvantaged position, outstanding defensive skills, and the advantage of receiving two buffs for the price of one. Through his impressive submission signature move, Cody is able to progressively weaken his opponents, ultimately leading to their elimination from the ring. Unlockable in AEW Fight Forever, Cody Rhodes proves his worth as a remarkable character.

Wardlow, on the other hand, is a force to be reckoned with. Boasting Unyielding Poise, the ability to gain the Elimination Buff, Guardbreak skills, and extraordinary resilience when cornered, Wardlow exemplifies raw power.

Nyla Rose is a dominant wrestler known for her incredible power moves such as the Back Against the Wall and Rebound Attack, along with two additional buffs. She possesses the skills of Guardbreak and Strike Proficiency to effectively eliminate her opponents by knocking them out of the ring.

On the other hand, Lance Archer is also a force to be reckoned with in the ring. With his immense strength, he possesses the Unyielding Poise, Back Against the Wall, 2-for-1, and Elimination buffs. Similar to Nyla Rose, Archer is equipped with the Strike Proficiency and Guard Break skills to deliver devastating blows to his opponents.

In order to survive and emerge victorious in the AEW Fight Forever's Casino Battle Royale, it is advisable to allow fellow wrestlers to engage in combat and exhaust each other. Utilize taunting gestures to build up momentum, and strategically employ light attacks and grapples to launch offensive maneuvers. Although employing Signature moves is encouraged, it is wise to refrain from utilizing Special attacks, as this will diminish the momentum bar. Furthermore, defeating opponents can be achieved by repeatedly executing multiple Signature moves to weaken them and secure eliminations.

Focus on depleting opponents' momentum bar to the point where it reaches the blue zone or the danger zone.

To put your opponent at risk, press and hold LT on Xbox, L2 on PlayStation, LZ on Switch, or the N button on the keyboard to perform an Irish Whip either into or over the top rope. Employ a mix of light and heavy strikes when your opponent is pushed against the ropes.

Use A/X/B/K to grab the opponent on the keyboard, then utilize the R-stick or the WSDA buttons to thrust them towards the ropes. Execute a strike grapple by pressing X or Y/Square, and Triangle/Y and X/J, and I on the keyboard. This maneuver can result in an elimination.

Regrettably, luck plays a significant role in the battle royale, as wrestlers with considerable momentum can still be eliminated as the match progresses.
