Diablo 4 offers a multitude of cosmetic items for players to collect, which can be obtained in-game through various means. While there is a real-money microtransaction store in D4 that offers exclusive cosmetics, players are not required to make any purchases in order to customize their wardrobe and stable with different looks.
Apart from being able to transmogrify standard armor and weapons, Diablo 4 players have the option to personalize the appearance of their mounts with mount armor. The majority of mount armor cosmetics are obtained through random drops from world events, elite mobs, and other PvE challenges. However, the game's PvP system offers an opportunity to earn five unique Diablo 4 mount armors.
How To Get D4 PvP Mount Armor
Engaging in PvP or achieving PvE objectives in the game's PvP areas allows players to accumulate Seeds of Hatred. After acquiring a substantial amount, players can visit an Altar to convert these Seeds into Shards of Hatred. These Shards permanently enhance a character and will not be lost upon death in the Fields of Hatred.
Once the ritual is complete, return to the nearest town (Denshar in Kehjistan or Alzuuda in the Dry Steppes). On the mini-map, locate an icon resembling a Horse's head with a smaller bloodshard icon in the bottom left corner.
Where To Get Shards of Hatred
Baklir in Denshan and the vendors there are known for being Unconventional Mount Armor vendors. They offer a wide range of trophies, mount armors, and even a one-of-a-kind mount, all of which can be purchased with different amounts of Shards. If players wish to acquire all five mount armors, it will cost them a total of 200,000 Shards of Hatred, with each armor priced at 40,000 Shards individually.Players who wish to participate in Diablo 4 PvP and obtain Shards of Hatred can visit two distinct areas: the Fields of Hatred in the southwest Dry Steppes and its sister location in southern Hawezar.
Both locations notify players upon entry that they are entering a PvP zone. It is important to activate the Bloodmarked status on your character, accessible through the emote wheel, in order to engage in combat with other players. It is worth mentioning that PvP is not a mandatory requirement to acquire Seeds and Shards of Hatred. Players have the option to earn Seeds by completing events and defeating Elites in the area. Nevertheless, Bloodmarked players are still able to initiate attacks on non-Bloodmarked players within PvP zones.
