The Sims 4, which was released in 2014, is set to receive a new expansion pack centered around ranch life and horse-raising. Since its initial release, numerous DLC packs have been introduced to enhance the base game, covering a wide range of topics. Whether it's expansion packs, game packs, stuff packs, or kits, there is a diverse selection to cater to the various interests of fans. Despite the game's extensive expansion history, the community continues to show their support, expressing their desire for certain features. One highly sought-after pack, inspired by the popular Generations expansion for The Sims 3, was repeatedly requested by players who enjoyed the legacy gameplay. Earlier this year, the Growing Together expansion pack was released, aiming to enrich family gameplay, fulfilling the longstanding demand of the community.
The Horse Ranch expansion pack, highly anticipated by fans, has finally arrived, bringing with it the long-awaited addition of horses to The Sims 4. Released on June 22, the pack's trailer was accompanied by a detailed blog post from The Sims Team, providing a glimpse into the various features players can look forward to in Horse Ranch. While the focus of this DLC is on horses, players can also expect to immerse themselves in the full ranch life experience, complete with goats, sheep, barbecues, cowboy hats (even tiny ones for horses), line dancing, nectar, farmhouses, horse training, breeding, and much more. Mark your calendars, as the Horse Ranch expansion pack will be available for gameplay on July 20, 2023.
Additionally, fans will be pleased to learn that The Sims 4 is embracing Native American representation in this pack. Collaborating with a cultural consultant, the developers have incorporated Indigenous culture into the game, offering players a glimpse of traditional foods, furniture, and clothing.
The Sims 4 is currently available on various platforms including PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
