Raiden MK1 Fatalities & Brutalities
In Mortal Kombat 1, the revamped universe introduces various fresh interpretations of both familiar and unfamiliar characters. One of the most significant changes can be seen in Raiden, who shifts from being a deity to a Shaolin warrior. Despite this transformation, Raiden retains his lightning abilities from previous titles, thanks to Liu Kang's assistance in his character redesign. While Raiden is generally perceived as an easy character to pick up, truly excelling and mastering his capabilities requires the same level of dedication as any other character in Mortal Kombat 1.
Raiden Overview
In Mortal Kombat 1, Raiden steps up to take Liu Kang's place as the champion of the tournament. Despite his humble beginnings, Raiden's combat skills are far from amateur-level. Thanks to Liu Kang, Raiden regains his lightning powers in MK1, along with the abilities he is well-known for, now accompanied by new vocalizations.
While Raiden's intricate movements and special abilities might initially give the impression of a complex character, there's no need to be afraid. In MK1, Raiden's moves are more flashy than challenging to learn. He benefits from a wide range of abilities and a few simple combos that require minimal inputs but deliver multiple attacks.
Raiden Special Moves & Basic Attacks
The following guide utilizes a standardized universal input translation for moves. Instead of listing the familiar console buttons, a system devised by the fighting game community has been developed over time to convert each console's controls into a simplified formula. This enables all players to comprehend the inputs required for executing these moves and combos.
To learn more about how this system operates, please consult the guide titled "Understanding the Universal Input Code for Mortal Kombat 1."
