Discovering Essences in Basalt Forest to Boost Health and AbilitiesStar Wars Jedi: Survivor offers players the chance to improve their health and force meters, while also unlocking new abilities, perks, and skill points through the use of essences. These essences can be found throughout the Basalt Forest, but players must first embark on a thorough search throughout their journey to activate the Forest Array during the Fallen Jedi main quest.
This comprehensive guide is tailored to assist players in obtaining all the essences located in the Basalt Forest area of Koboh, featured in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Our guide covers all the essential areas, including the Chamber of Reason, the Forest Array, the Bilemaw Den, and the Rehabilitation Wing.
Chamber of Reason
The Chamber of Reason is found in the Basalt Rift, near the Mogu Den, and has one essence.
Essence 1 of 1 - Dexterity
Successfully completing the puzzle in the Chamber of Reason rewards you with a one-of-a-kind benefit. Once you've taken the orb to the second level, simply place it in the coupler located across the bridge. This will grant you access to the shrine where you can obtain this unique essence.
Forest Array
The Forest Array is at the end of the Basalt Rift, accessed during the main quest, and has two essences.
Essence 1 of 2 – Skill Point
Use Cal's Ascension Cable to navigate under the bridge and reach the essence on the other side. Begin by dropping down to a beam on the right side, then climb up to the grate above and make your way across the gap. This is after encountering the large winged creature and battling the Mogu on the bridge while exploring the Array.
To reach the essence on the ledge, one must navigate through the forest and enter the cave on the right. However, crossing the gap to the Stormtrooper may not be possible. Instead, jump to the building understructure and follow the platform around. Swing across the poles to make your way to the coveted essence.
Bilemaw Den
The Bilemaw Den has only one essence and is entered as players explore the Forest Array.
Essence 1 of 1 – Confusion: Major Fauna
Confusion: Major Fauna can be found upon first entering the area, on the right just before the Meditation Point.
Rehabilitation Wing
The Rehabilitation Wing comes at the very end of the Forest Array and has one essence.
Essence 1 of 1 – Health Essence
This Health Essence is found by the broken wall after players finish fighting the boss of this area.
