Unleash the Adventure: Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Unveil Epic Tera Raids

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet unleash an exciting surprise for trainers - the highly anticipated return of the beloved Tera raid boss, leaving fans thrilled for another epic battle!

Highlights

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are bringing back five-star Tera Raid battles against Blissey, giving players a chance to earn valuable rewards.

Completing these battles typically comes before encountering more difficult challenges or allows trainers to take a break.

By emerging victorious against Blissey in the Tera raid, players will receive rewards such as Rare Candy, Tera Shards, and vitamins, which can be utilized to prepare their teams for upcoming battles.

The Tera raids against Decidueye the Unrivaled have concluded, and now Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have announced the return of five-star Tera Raid battles featuring Blissey. These upcoming Tera raids will provide another opportunity for players to obtain valuable rewards, such as Rare Candy and various types of Tera Shards, in order to strengthen their teams.

In the past, battles against Blissey have often been a precursor to seven-star Tera raids or served as a means for trainers to recover after a challenging ordeal. The recent battle against Decidueye the Unrivaled, for example, tested trainers who were not accustomed to facing speedy physical attackers. With formidable moves like Triple Arrows, Leaf Blade, Shadow Claw, and Brave Bird, Hisuian Decidueye forced players to utilize Pokemon Violet exclusives like Iron Moth and Ceruledge to match its power blow for blow. However, this will not be the case with the upcoming Tera raids.

Blissey is set to appear in five-star Tera raid dens on Serebii.net from Thursday, October 19, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern, until Sunday, October 22, at 7:59 p.m. Eastern. This marks its return since its last appearance in August during a series of Tera raid battles focused on preparing trainers for Mewtwo the Unrivaled. Blissey can possess any Tera-type and is known for utilizing moves like Seismic Toss and Softboiled for fixed damage and self-healing. Defeating Blissey will grant players in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet various items, including Rare Candy, Tera Shards corresponding to the boss' Tera-type, and vitamins like Carbos and Calcium. These items are beneficial for building competitive Pokemon teams and future Tera raids.

Blissey, also known as the Happiness Pokemon, is highly regarded as one of the top special defenders in the Pokemon series. While it boasts incredible HP and special defense stats, weak physical defenses make it susceptible to being taken down swiftly by strong physical Pokemon such as Okidogi or Ursaluna, depending on Blissey's Tera type.

Blissey is making a comeback to Tera raid battles, coinciding with the upcoming release of The Indigo Disk DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Although Blissey will only be obtainable for a limited three-day period, it is yet to be revealed what other Tera raid battles lie ahead in the near future.

You can already get Pokemon Scarlet and Violet for the Nintendo Switch.
