Jujutsu Kaisen 0 characters: Where do they appear in the main series?

Yuta Okkotsu

Yuta serves as the central character in the film and holds great significance among the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 cast. Following the tragic death of Rika Orimoto in his childhood, he inadvertently placed a curse on her, leading to her spirit transforming into a Curse. Over time, he gains the ability to control and effectively harness her powers.

Gojo Satoru

Chapter 137 marks his manga debut, appearing at the beginning of Itadori's Extermination Arc. This is the scene where fans witness a brief clash between Yuta and Yuji. Considering the sequence of events, it is highly probable that he will make an appearance in episode 23 of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, following the Shibuya Arc.

One of the most adored characters in Gege Akutami's series, Gojo Satoru, while essential, takes a slightly less prominent role compared to the other characters in Jujutsu Kaisen 0. He presents Yuta with the opportunity to study at Jujutsu High.

In both the main series and manga chapter titled Secret Execution, he serves as a mentor to Yuta and aids in training him to control his powers. He is also introduced in Episode 1 of the anime after Yuji consumes Sukuna's finger, marking the demon's first appearance.

Suguru Geto

Suguru Geto, the antagonist among the characters in Jujutsu Kaisen 0, targeted the Queen of Curses, Rika, and launched the Night Parade of a 100 Demons on December 24, 2017, as a distraction to attack Jujutsu High and go after Yuta and Rika directly.

Appearing first in Chapter 0 of the manga, which is essentially the movie version, Suguru Geto makes his anime debut in Episode 5 (Pseudo-Geto) and later in Episode 8 (flashback). In the second season, which covers Gojo's Past Arc, more of Gojo's only friend is revealed.

Rika Orimoto

Rika Orimoto, a character from Jujutsu Kaisen 0, met a tragic end as the result of a car accident. After her death, her spirit was cursed and transformed into a powerful vengeful cursed spirit, earning her the title of "Queen of Curses". Ultimately, Yuta was able to break the curse and help her find peace in the afterlife.

Rika made her first manga appearance in Chapter 0-1. These chapters essentially cover the movie and serve as a prequel to the events of Jujutsu Kaisen.

Maki Zenin

Maki Zenin plays a supporting role in Jujutsu Kaisen 0, where she assists in training Yuta alongside other characters. Her knowledge and skills enable Yuta to better utilize Cursed Tools, including the sword given by Gojo.

Maki Zenin makes her appearance in the manga in Chapter 10, where the first years meet the second years. She then appears in Episode 5 of the anime adaptation of the same.

Toge Inumaki

Another valuable member of the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 characters, Toge Inumaki, worked alongside Maki and Panda to assist in Yuta's training. One of his responsibilities was to guide Yuta on a mission to gain a deeper understanding of Curses and their behavior.

Inumaki made his manga appearance in Chapter 10 and in Episode 5 of the anime adaptation. He is part of the group inviting the First Years to the Kyoto Goodwill Event.

Panda

Part of the trio that trained Yuta, Panda is another important character in the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 cast. Despite the name, Panda is not an actual panda, but rather an Abrupt Mutated Cursed Corpse created by Masamichi Yaga. He is a classmate of Yuta and faced off against Geto in order to protect Yuta.

Similar to his senpai, he appears in Chapter 10 of the manga and in Episode 5 of the anime adaptation.

Cameo Appearances

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 features a plethora of cameos during the Night Parade of a 100 Demons, including characters such as Masamichi Yaga, Kiyotaka Ijichi, Kento Nanami, Atsuya Kusakabe, Akari Nitta, Mei Mei, Shoko Ieiri, Todo Aoi, Mai Zenin, Noritoshi Kamo, and Takuma Ino. These characters appear multiple times throughout the series, contributing to various story arcs with their unique abilities and Cursed Techniques. As the second season of the anime continues, it is expected to conclude with the Itadori's Extermination Arc.
