Where to Get Picnic Seats
Explore the Kitakami area in Scarlet/Violet's Teal Mask and encounter an NPC who crafts customized picnic chairs to perfectly match the aesthetic of your picnic tablecloths. This seemingly insignificant side quest turns out to be rewarding, as presenting each tablecloth to the NPC earns players a unique ingredient that enhances sandwiches with a dazzling Sparkling Power effect. Enthusiastic Shiny Hunters must seize this opportunity, as they can obtain these valuable ingredients without any cost.
Within Mossui Town, players can easily locate two non-playable characters (NPCs) situated at a picnic table, accompanied by a Geodude. To obtain it and have a complete set of picnic chairs in Scarlet/Violet, players must complete the Olive Roll Gym Challenge in Cortondo. However, there's a catch – players must finish the Olive Roll in under 2 hours and 30 minutes.
To have another go at the Gym Challenge after defeating Katy, players should go back to the location where the Olive Roll originally took place and speak to the non-playable character there. A new course for the Olive Roll challenge will be available. The type of rewards players receive will depend on the time it takes them to reach the goal.
Olive Roll Challenge Walkthrough/Tips
Regrettably, the Olive Roll challenge poses quite the challenge this time. Players have two options: either maneuver the ball throughout the arena or opt for a shortcut by nudging it through a gap in the fence near the initial ramp. To secure the tablecloth within the given time of 2 minutes and 30 seconds, players must choose the shortcut route.
The olive ball is incredibly delicate, capable of bouncing with the slightest touch. If players choose to ride on Koraidon/Miraidon and attempt to kick it from above their Pokemon, there is a risk of the ball being propelled in the opposite direction. The most effective approach to complete this challenge is by slowly walking into the ball while on Koraidon/Miraidon, gently bumping it forward instead of causing it to soar.
