One of the exciting new features in Diablo 4 is the introduction of Strongholds. These large, thematic set pieces are designed to add more depth and flavor to the game's massive open world. Not only do they bring Sanctuary to life, but they also allow players to feel like they are making a meaningful impact on the world around them. With Strongholds, Diablo 4 promises to be an even more immersive and engaging experience for players.

Malnok Stronghold

Players in Diablo 4 are tasked with liberating monster-ridden Strongholds in each region of the game. In the Fractured Peaks, players will find three Strongholds, each with its own unique atmosphere and story. To help players navigate the first act, here is where to locate all three major Strongholds in this region.

Located directly east of Kyovashad and nestled between the Frigid Expanse and the Seat of the Heavens, the first Stronghold in Diablo 4 is Malnok, a once-thriving hamlet now overrun by the Ice Clan Khazra. The village's former inhabitants have been transformed into frozen statues, forever preserving the remains of the vengeful dead who slumber within.

Players must navigate through the surrounding caves and outcrops of Malnok to defeat the goat-man shamans responsible for the unpredictable blizzard plaguing the town. Once the shamans are eliminated, a formidable Khazra brute wielding the power of the storm will appear in the center arena. Players must defeat the brute and reignite the Wanderer's Shrine to free Malnok from the curse.

Nostrava Stronghold

Nestled to the west of Kyovashad and north of Nevesk lies the quaint village of Nostrava. Despite its peaceful appearance, this idyllic setting is home to a dangerous threat in the form of Lilith cultists and their Succubi overlords. To put an end to the madness, venture to the hilltop church and confront these malevolent forces.

Defend the villagers' homes from the relentless Hellspawn in this Stronghold while ensuring each one is safe. As the difficulty ramps up, the final confrontation becomes increasingly intense. Once all the demons have been defeated, light the Wanderer's Shrine to unlock a new waypoint, vendor, and blacksmith.

Kor Dragan Stronghold

Located to the north of Kyovashad, near Menestad and the Kor Dragan Barracks dungeon, lies a formidable military force. The Kor Dragan Stronghold, the biggest of its kind in Fractured Peaks, is teeming with vampires and their ghastly minions. To reach the vampiric incubator, one must venture towards the center of the keep, where the small pustules surrounding all three incubators must be destroyed to gain access to the boss arena.
