Kehjistan is a perilous location in Diablo 4 that challenges players with an increased number of hellspawn, cultists, and other unsavory foes. The region's once-beautiful oases are now overrun with danger, making exploration a thrilling yet dangerous experience. Despite the expanded map, players can still expect the same satisfying demon-slaying action as before.

Kehjistan Stronghold Locations in Diablo 4
Venturing beyond the sandy dunes and rocky crags lies a trio of Strongholds, each presenting unique combat challenges that can quickly become chaotic. These arenas must be conquered to fully explore the area, making the locations of all three Kehjistan Strongholds in Diablo 4 a valuable asset for players looking to save time.
Alcarnus
In Diablo 3's second act, Alcarnus was a main story location. In the sequel, it has returned as a Stronghold located to the east of Caldeum's Imperial Library Waypoint and northwest of Jahir. Despite being just as destroyed and infested as before, a new threat looms over its ruined streets. A desperate Necromancer has taken over the old witch's lair at the heart of the village with a plan to "solve death" by creating clones of herself. To prevent things from getting out of hand, players must destroy all the Necrotic Growths in Alcarnus and put an end to the mad researcher. However, it's important to note that liberating Alcarnus does not bring any new Waypoints, dungeons, or other rewards.
Altar of Ruin
An eerie temple, displaying clear indicators of demonic activity, lies beyond the Scorching Dunes and north of the Imperial Library Waypoint. Goat men and cultists can be seen participating in a mysterious ritual, which is likely to result in a surge of demons being unleashed in the world of Diablo 4. To prevent this, it is imperative to venture into the Altar of Ruin, locate the Keystones held by the cultists, and eliminate the summoner and his demonic followers to secure the Stronghold. This will enable you to unlock a new Waypoint, similar to other Strongholds in the game. Furthermore, it is advisable to collect the Altar of Lilith situated to the right of the Waypoint before proceeding further.
Omath's Redoubt
Players can explore Kehjistan's temperate southern region in Stronghold, starting from Gea Kul Waypoint by the coastline. Heading east will lead them to Omath's Redoubt, a once-strong fort in Hakan's Oasis that has now been taken over by ghosts and the undead. In order to progress, players must search through the ruins of the fort and locate the remains of the fallen defenders. This will trigger a final battle against the spirit of their leader, which must be won in order to gain access to the Crumbling Hekma dungeon. The dungeon contains the coveted Aspect of Splintering Energy, a powerful ability exclusive to the Sorcerer class.
Diablo 4 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
