Much to the surprise of many gamers, this update offers more than what was initially anticipated. In November 2022, the Leader Pass introduced new DLC exclusively for PC players, leaving console players disappointed. However, the recently released free update in August 2023 has rectified this, making the additional content accessible to console players as well. Now, gamers can delight in the presence of 12 new leaders and six different versions of beloved fan-favorite leaders.

The Leader Pass announcement was the main attraction for many players, but the update had even more to offer. Fans will be pleased to learn that additional achievements have been included in Civilization 6. Gamers can now earn achievements by winning matches with each leader that was introduced in the game with the Leader Pass DLC.
