In Diablo 4, the map is divided into five main areas, with the initial one being the Fractured Peaks in Act 1. This desolate and frozen landscape not only holds a significant part of Diablo 4's storyline but also offers numerous side quests for players to embark on. Within this location, players can discover a total of 35 additional quests, each providing valuable rewards such as gold, area renown, and experience points.

Every section of the map will feature various non-playable characters (NPCs) and items that trigger these quests. It is crucial for players to explore and uncover all of these elements in order to obtain all the treasures and rewards available.

Blood Sermon

Quest Pick Up Location: Kor Valar

Quest NPC: Sister Vera

After conversing with Sister Vera within the confines of Kor Valar, proceed to the Sanguine Chapel dungeon and locate two Mechanical Boxes. Then, meticulously position the two boxes on their designated pedestals. Engage in combat with the formidable Blood Bishop. Subsequently, make your way to the Bear Clan Refuge Waypoint situated in Fractured Peaks to engage in a discussion with Sister Vera, thus concluding the quest.

The Seat of the Heavens is the easternmost northern portion of the Fractured Peaks map. Players can find four more side quests there.

Enter the Rimescar Cavern Dungeon in Fractured Peaks; interact with the Impaled Champion Baltok to acquire the Grizzly's Maul quest item. Return to Greganoch.

Call of the Ancients

Quest NPC: Chieftain Glous

Go to the Hallowed Glacier dungeon alongside the chieftain and engage in combat with the adversaries present. Retrieve the blood stone and place it onto the pedestal to unlock the sealed door, revealing a challenging encounter with Cyhrach The Firstborn, the boss. Following the intense battle, engage in a conversation with the shaman.

Side Quests in Frigid Expanse

The Frigid Expanse is to the east of the city of Kyovashad. It's a fairly big section of the land, but it only contains six side quests.

Find and kill the ghost of Corik Trost in the Black Asylum dungeon.

A Cold Faith

Reward: Herb Cache

Pick up the Pilgrim's Journal from the location above, then bring it to Margrave. Chat with Priest Matvey in the middle of town to finish the quest.

Exorcist's Cache

Prerequisites: None

Reward: Unsealed Exorcist's Cache

The Exorcist's Cache, which is obtained as a random drop from Phantoms and Bone Warriors, initiates the quest once acquired. To open the Cache, players must collect enough Spirit Anima by defeating additional Phantoms and Bone Warriors.

Khazra goatmen in the area have a chance to drop the item the Warrior's Chain. The item must be returned to Sena in the Bear Tribe Refuge.

Gale Valley Side Quests

Gale Valley, situated in the southeastern part of the Fractured Peaks, is home to Yelesna town. Within this particular region of Diablo 4's Sanctuary Map, players can embark on a total of five side quests.

Icebound Geode

In Gale Valley, players have the opportunity to discover various ore deposits, among which lies a precious Icebound Geode waiting to be found. Once obtained, this rare gem should be delivered to Kratia, who can be found in Kyovashad. To enhance its beauty and value, players are advised to purchase Acid Flux from Idania, who operates the neighboring store to the jeweler.
