As Sheldon's neighbor for a significant period, Billy's role in his life remained unchanged in Young Sheldon. In contrast to Sheldon's assertions that Billy was a major bully in Texas, the character depicted in Young Sheldon is actually quite mild and dense. He generally keeps to himself and is mostly harmless. Despite being a good-natured kid, Billy often finds himself taken advantage of, as shown in a prank on him by Missy's friend in Young Sheldon season 6. As for Sheldon, he and Billy have minimal interactions now that Sheldon has moved to East Texas Tech for college.
