Due to the immense popularity of Stardew Valley, it comes as no surprise that fans are incorporating various aspects of the game into other titles, and vice versa. Players have successfully integrated well-known characters and elements from Stardew Valley into other life simulation or sandbox games, such as Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Minecraft, and The Sims. While some community members focus on replicating specific parts of the farming RPG, one fan is undertaking an ambitious project by attempting to recreate the entire town of Pelican in The Sims 4.
A Redditor by the name of EthanTP80 recently shared multiple images showcasing their progress in reconstructing the world of Stardew Valley within The Sims 4. The pictures display their Sims 4 version of The Stardrop Saloon, a popular restaurant situated in central Pelican Town and owned by a character named Gus. Although the Redditor took some creative liberties with the shape and size of the saloon, likely to accommodate all the furniture found within the building, avid Stardew Valley fans will undoubtedly recognize key elements such as the jukebox on the left side, the fireplace positioned to the right of the bar, and even the presence of a vending machine and couch in the arcade room, where villagers often hang out in the original game.
EthanTP80's work was instantly recognized and praised by fellow fans on the Reddit thread. Some inquired about specific furniture items, like the pool table in the arcade room of the Stardew Valley saloon, but the creator explained that The Sims 4 did not offer that option. Others requested that the creator upload their creation on The Sims 4 Gallery, to which they confirmed it had already been done. This means that players who wish to include this particular building in their own Sims 4 gameplay can download and use it. Considering the size of Pelican Town in Stardew Valley and the numerous buildings within it, it may take some time for EthanTP80 to complete their recreation project. However, both the Stardew Valley and The Sims 4 communities are exceptionally pleased with their work and eagerly anticipate future progress updates.
Stardew Valley is available for Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
