Tyla is fearless when it comes to trying out new fashion trends.
After her stunning appearance at the 2024 Met Gala on Monday, May 6, the 22-year-old singer wore a custom Balmain gown that perfectly hugged her figure. Later in the evening, she switched things up by changing into a thigh-high minidress.
Olivier Rousteing, the creative director of Balmain, posted a video on Instagram on May 7. In the video, he was seen cutting the design of a dress at the gala. He knelt down and suggested trimming the dress to thigh length. After receiving approval, Rousteing started cutting the fabric.
Later, Tyla walked the red carpet again, flaunting the new length of the dress. The design beautifully accentuated her figure and was originally designed with a floor-length skirt and a gorgeous train.
The singer added some extra sparkle to her outfit by adorning her arm and shoulder with glittery sand, carrying an hourglass purse, and wearing gold jewelry. To enhance the glam factor, she opted for soft makeup with winged eyeliner, rosy cheeks, and long lashes. Her hair was styled in wet curls with a side part.
