Twinning Goals: Tristan Thompson's Son Tatum, 12 Months, Radiates Cuteness in Matching Sunglasses

Tristan Thompson is commemorating the 1st birthday of his son, Tatum, with ex Khloé Kardashian. In a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, Thompson expressed his joy and gratitude, stating that Tatum serves as a reminder of the meaning of life and the lessons learned from every loss. Tatum is truly a precious gift and a constant reminder of God's messages.

He continued, "You are the inspiration behind my story. The challenges I've faced are not failures, but lessons. There is no time limit for reinventing oneself. Tatum, your kind spirit reminds me of God's grace. You are destined for greatness, my son, and I am grateful to be your father."

Accompanying Thompson's heartfelt message, the Los Angeles Lakers center shared a series of photos featuring himself and his 12-month-old son. In the pictures, Thompson lovingly held Tatum in his arms as they smiled for the camera. The father and son duo even sported matching Ray-Ban sunglasses. Thompson donned black shades to complement his velour shirt, while Tatum wore a beige pair that beautifully matched his brown outfit.

Thompson and Kardashian, aged 39, who ended their relationship after the NBA star's paternity scandal in 2021, hosted a grand birthday celebration for Tatum a day before on Friday, July 28.

"Present at the handsome hunk's birthday," Kardashian exclaimed in an Instagram Story video filmed in her backyard, displaying the space-themed decorations. "And guess who's here? The talented Chef K, preparing a feast! Let's have a taste of everything, woo! Look at that creatively shaped food."

At the party, Kardashian and Thompson were accompanied by their eldest child, True, who is 5 years old, and Thompson's son Prince, who is 6 years old and was born during his previous relationship with Jordan Craig. Additionally, Thompson is the father of 18-month-old son Theo, whom he shares with Maralee Nichols.

Thompson and Kardashian were in an on-again, off-again relationship from 2016 to 2021. However, their relationship ended when news broke out about a lawsuit filed by Nichols, 31, who claimed that Thompson was the father of her child and sued him for child support. Prior to the lawsuit, Kardashian and Thompson had undergone an embryo transfer with their surrogate to conceive their son Tatum. Tatum was born in July 2022, and Kardashian, who was unaware of the scandal during her pregnancy, agreed to co-parent both Tatum and her daughter True with Thompson.

Thompson, who used to live close to Kardashian and their children, has now moved into her mansion with his youngest brother, Amari. (Thompson was granted custody of his 17-year-old sibling after their mother, Andrea Thompson, passed away earlier this year.)

During the season 3 finale of The Kardashians, which was released on Thursday, July 27, Kardashian expressed her belief that God has a plan and doesn't want Thompson to be alone at this time. She also emphasized the importance of family, stating that when things get tough, all you have is your family. Kardashian considers Thompson to be family and believes that they will be family for the rest of their lives.
