Six people died and four individuals sustained injuries in a fire that erupted at a nightclub in Murcia, Spain early on Sunday morning, according to the city council. The injured victims, two women aged 22 and 25, and two men aged 41 and 45, were rushed to the hospital due to smoke inhalation, as stated on the Murcia emergency services website.

Immediate action was taken when the incident occurred, and local firefighters promptly requested help from the helicopter provided by the General Directorate of Security and Emergencies. Subsequently, the emergency services confirmed that the ground resources available were adequate to extinguish the fire."
The emergency services reported that the General Director of Security and Emergencies, Ricardo Villalba, is currently present at the location, working together with the Murcia City Council to organize the required resources for handling this tragic event. Additionally, they mentioned that the Vice President and Minister of the Interior, Emergencies and Territorial Planning, Jose Ángel Antelo, is en route to the scene.
