Tottenham are keen on securing the services of Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher on Deadline Day, with negotiations already underway. However, in order to proceed with the transfer, Tottenham will likely have to offload some players beforehand.

Gallagher underwent his regular training session with Chelsea on Friday morning. As he embarks on the final two years of his contract, Chelsea remains open to the possibility of extending his deal, but will also assess any suitable offers. West Ham United had previously made a bid exceeding £40m, which was ultimately rejected.

Tottenham are in search of a new midfielder, with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg being offered to various clubs, including Fulham.

When does the window close?

The Premier League window is set to close on Friday night at 11pm, resulting in a late-running Deadline Day!

In Scotland, the transfer window closes at midnight, mirroring a similar situation in LaLiga where clubs have until 11pm to finalize their transactions. In France, the window shuts at 10pm, while in Italy, clubs must complete their business by 7pm. The Bundesliga's window, on the other hand, closes at 5pm.

However, with the Saudi Arabian window remaining open until September 7, clubs still face the possibility of losing players to the extravagant league, even after their own transfer windows have come to a close.
