A Toronto restaurant and its staff are not happy with Zachary Quinto. The Mediterranean-inspired bistro named Manita criticized the 47-year-old actor on their Instagram Story. They praised his portrayal of Spock in Star Trek movies but labeled him a difficult customer. It appears Quinto caused a disturbance at the restaurant.

A social media post shared that a customer yelled at the restaurant staff in a disrespectful manner. He was upset because he missed two texts informing him that his table was ready. Despite being told that the available tables were already reserved, he refused to believe it. This behavior made the host cry and made other brunch diners uncomfortable.

The restaurant tagged Quinto's Instagram account in the post, sending him a clear message.

“Mr. Quinto, take your bad vibes somewhere else, we have many lovely celebrities join us at Manita but you are NOT one of them,” the message concluded.

Quinto has not yet publicly responded to the restaurant, and We has reached out to his team for comment.

The actor didn't seem to mind the message and kept on enjoying his birthday at a local Toronto amusement park called Wonderland on Sunday. Quinto appreciated the park for giving him an amazing birthday adventure and shared a picture of the park entrance.

In another photo, Quinto was seen having a fun day at the park with his co-stars Alex MacNicoll, Tamberla Perry, and Spence Moore II. All four actors are part of the upcoming NBC medical drama Wolf.

Quinto also posted a photo of himself, seemingly snapped in a restaurant, with his hand over his heart. Sitting in front of him is a dessert complete with a lit candle.

Zachary Quinto, as seen on his Instagram, is just one of many celebrities who have faced criticism for their actions at a restaurant. In October 2022, James Corden was banned once again by NYC restaurateur Keith McNally.

McNally shared on Instagram that James Corden, a talented comedian, was also difficult to deal with as a customer at Balthazar. He was described as the most abusive customer the restaurant had seen in its 25-year history.

After several incidents involving Corden, he called McNally to apologize profusely.

After his original post, McNally shared his belief in second chances, stating, "Having messed up myself more than most people, I strongly believe in second chances." He humorously added, "So if James Corden lets me host his Late Late Show for 9 months, I’ll immediately rescind his ban from Balthazar." McNally then clarified, "No, of course not. But.... anyone generous enough to apologize to a deadbeat like me (and my staff) doesn’t deserve to be banned from anywhere."
