In a post on Instagram on March 19, Beyoncé shared, “I approached this album as a continuation of Renaissance. I hope this music takes you on a journey where you can listen from start to finish without stopping. This is not just a Country album, but a ‘Beyoncé’ album. This is act ii COWBOY CARTER, and I am excited to share it with all of you!”
