How to Get the Tuxedo in Sons of the Forest
Players can obtain the Tuxedo on their very first day on the island, but only after obtaining a set of specific items. To acquire the Tuxedo, players must venture to the northwestern area of the forest and locate an underground bunker known as Maintenance A. However, gaining entry to the bunker requires players to possess a Rebreather, Rope Gun, and Shovel. Once inside, the Tuxedo can be found waiting for them.

Deep within the cave systems on the island lie the three essential items: the Rebreather, the Rope Gun, and the Shovel. The Rebreather and Rope Gun are necessary to access the Shovel, making them the first two items to go after. However, the caves are highly dangerous and overrun with mutants, who are far stronger than their surface-dwelling cannibal counterparts. As such, players should aim to avoid combat whenever possible.
To prepare for cave dives, it is recommended to gather necessary supplies such as food, beverages, Meds, and weapon ammo. Ranged weapons such as the Crossbow or Shotgun are incredibly effective against the mutants, while explosives should be used with caution as they attract cannibals to the area. Due to the darkness in the caves, players should utilize a Flashlight, torch, or flares for better visibility.
Players who have obtained the Shovel can uncover Maintenance A, a hidden bunker located directly north of the cave where the Shovel was discovered. The surrounding area is littered with broken-down golf carts and digging equipment, with the entrance to the bunker located on the ground between the zoning tools and one of the carts. Keep an eye out for the shovel icon, which will indicate where players can dig up valuable items.
While digging towards Maintenance A, players should remain vigilant for any potential threats from the neighboring tribes to the east and west. Once enough dirt has been cleared, the hatch can be opened and players can safely climb down inside. Upon entering, they will be greeted by a long hallway illuminated by flickering lights.
Players should exercise caution when nearing the end of the hallway in the maintenance room, as a group of mutant babies may be present. Once the hallway has been traversed, players will come across a door on the right-hand side that leads to an abandoned apartment. The interior is fully furnished, with a bedroom and bathroom located towards the back. The Tuxedo can be found inside the bathroom, behind the tub and next to a corpse. While the Tuxedo provides minor protection against weather and has less than half damage, its comfort rating is slightly above moderate.
In Maintenance A, you'll find other important items like the Maintenance Key Card and Fireman's Axe. The Key Card can be found on the desk situated on the back wall of the apartment's front room, while the Fireman's Axe is kept in a propped open case at the end of the hallway. Fortunately, using a melee weapon like the Fireman's Axe can be effective in taking down mutant babies due to their frail nature. Sons of the Forest is currently available for early access on PC.
