This is because later in the month, we will be treated to the brand new animated series called Scott Pilgrim Takes Off. This series will retell the beloved story and feature the entire main cast from the aforementioned feature film. The movie, which draws inspiration from surreal comic books and video games, follows the challenges faced by Scott Pilgrim (played by Michael Cera), a struggling guitarist who is on a desperate quest for love following a difficult breakup. Meanwhile, his band, Sex Bobomb, is striving to establish themselves as serious artists. Scott's chance at finding love again arises when he meets Ramona Flowers (portrayed by Mary Elizabeth Winstead), but there's a catch - he can only date her if he defeats all seven of her evil exes in combat.
