After Yuji Itadori consumed a total of 15 fingers, Ryomen Sukuna seized control for a considerable period. Enjoying his newfound freedom, he wreaked havoc in Shibuya like a child in a candy store. However, amidst his rampage, he became entangled in something crucial for the future.

9) Todo Aoi's last Boogie Woogie

Cornered, Megumi resorted to summoning Mahoraga in a final attempt to defeat Haruta. Unexpectedly, Sukuna intervened, confronting the Divine General in order to protect Megumi as part of his own agenda. Ultimately, Sukuna triumphed over the Shikigami, and in accordance with the rules of summoning, he was exorcised and added to Megumi's arsenal.

The intense confrontation between Mahito, Todo Aoi, and Yuji Itadori resulted in all three of them sustaining severe injuries. As the battle dragged on, each of them was pushed to their limits, nearing the brink of defeat. Unfortunately, Todo suffered the most devastating fate.

The Grade 1 Sorcerer suffered the loss of his left hand to Mahito's Self-Embodiment of Perfection and severe burns on his right hand. As a result, his famous "Boogie Woogie" technique was rendered unusable since it required a clap to activate.

8) Death of the Star Plasma Vessel

Riko Amanai, known as the Star Plasma Vessel in Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, made a significant impact on the storyline. Despite her limited screen time, her character's growth left a lasting impression on both Gojo Satoru and Suguru Geto. What started as a mere duty transformed into a pivotal moment in their lives.

7) Toji kills Gojo

However, right before she could safely return home, Toji Fushiguro shot her. This event carries weight as it marked the sorcerers' initial significant setback. Her death was deeply disturbing and resulted in them taking entirely divergent paths.

Toji Fushiguro's mission was to eliminate the Star Plasma Vessel, Riko Amanai. Gojo Satoru and Suguru Geto posed as mere obstacles. However, due to his notoriety in handling assignments and his contempt for sorcerers, he took great pleasure in skillfully taking them both out.

6) Gojo Satoru awakens

He became the first person to outmaneuver Gojo's Infinity and successfully strike him, ultimately coming close to defeating him. Until then, the Six Eyes user had been untouchable and was constantly growing stronger. The entire confrontation proved that even the most powerful individuals have weaknesses.

The intense battle with Toji and a brush with death proved to be a pivotal turning point for Gojo. The notorious Sorcerer Killer managed to expose Gojo's vulnerabilities in a way no one else had before. This experience ultimately led to his transformation, or rather, his "enlightenment," shaping him into the formidable force that is Gojo Satoru.

5) The Executioner's return

He quickly came back after Toji fulfilled his contract for a rematch. However, the fight was not much of a challenge, as the white-haired sorcerer swiftly defeated Toji. This meeting was important for the future, as it prompted Gojo to keep his Limitless power constantly activated.

The second season of the anime concluded with the exciting reappearance of Yuta Okkotsu. Returning from his journey, he found himself thrown into action once again as he had to rescue a young girl from a dangerous Cursed Spirit.

The death of Riko Amanai served as a pivotal moment for both Gojo Satoru and Suguru Geto. It fundamentally altered their perspectives on the world, ultimately leading them down separate paths. Gojo's newfound strength propelled him to embark on more solo missions.

Meanwhile, Geto's mental state was deteriorating as he grappled with doubts and questions about the incident with Riko. His faith in non-sorcerers was wavering, and he began to resent the burden they placed on Jujutsu Sorcerers for protection.

A conversation with Yuki Tsukumo about preventing the birth of Curses went poorly and sowed the seeds for him to later be labeled as "the worst of all Curse Users."

3) Yuji vs. Mahito

After a long wait, Yuji Itadori finally had the opportunity to confront the despicable Mahito in season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen. Mahito was responsible for the deaths of Junpei Yoshino, and later, Nobara Kugisaki and Kento Nanami - all of which Yuji witnessed.

Though Yuji had nearly given up, Todo's arrival revitalized him. Together, the "brothers" had Mahito on the defensive. This battle was crucial to Yuji's growth as a sorcerer and further unleashed his already incredible potential. It ignited something within him, allowing him to fight against all odds.

2) Gojo being sealed

One of the most impactful moments in Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 occurred when Gojo Satoru was sealed. Pseudo-Geto/Kenjaku's cunning plan came to fruition as he caught Gojo off guard and activated the Prison Realm. He was aware of the impact his current possessed body would have on the Six Eyes user. Gojo believed his best friend had passed away, so seeing him reappear was nothing short of shocking. Gojo's sealing paves the way for the next story arcs and the Culling Game.

1) Kenjaku's death game

The conclusion of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 was a thrilling one, as Pseudo-Geto/Kenjaku orchestrated chaos in the Jujutsu world to advance his plans. Non-sorcerers' minds were altered to possess Cursed Techniques, and Vessels gained the ability to resist Cursed objects.

Those affected were left unconscious after being marked, only to be brought awake by Idle Transfiguration. In addition, a multitude of Curses were released across a significant portion of Japan, setting the stage for future events, including the looming Culling Game.

The captivating and adrenaline-fueled narrative of Jujutsu Kaisen incorporates characters uniquely to intensify the tension and drive the story forward.

Editor's P/S

As a hard fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, I am thrilled with the conclusion of season 2 and eagerly anticipating the next arc. The Shibuya Incident was a rollercoaster of emotions, filled with intense battles, shocking betrayals, and significant character development. The return of a familiar character and the growth of others have set the stage for even more exciting adventures in the world of Jujutsu sorcery.

One of the standout moments for me was the clash between Ryomen Sukuna and Mahoraga. Sukuna's dominance and his unexpected intervention to protect Megumi showcased his complex nature and strategic thinking. The subsequent exorcism and addition of Sukuna to Megumi's arsenal added a new dimension to their relationship and opened up intriguing possibilities for future battles.
