Tom Schwartz, age 40, famous for his brown hair since joining Vanderpump Rules in season 3, recently underwent a drastic transformation. This week, he debuted a stunning platinum blonde hairstyle. An Instagram photo shared by a Bravo fan on August 12 showcased Schwartz's departure from his customary dark locks in favor of a blond hue. The hashtags accompanying the post suggest that he was at the Mondrian in Los Angeles, enjoying a beverage and encountering a fellow customer with whom he took a picture.
Schwartz, who was dressed entirely in black, has yet to address his recent makeover, which coincides with the ongoing filming of Vanderpump Rules season 11. Although Bravo has kept the upcoming storylines under wraps, a few set photos have been circulating online.
Just days ago, Schwartz, along with his costars James Kennedy, Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, Ally Lewber, and Brock Davies, visited Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney's Something About Her sandwich shop on August 5 for a culinary tasting. The eatery, inspired by Paris, shared a picture on their account, showing Schwartz still sporting his usual brown hair.
Schwartz expressed his fear and apprehension as he prepared to film the new season of Vanderpump Rules. He acknowledged the volatile nature of their group, stating that they have always been a contentious bunch. Outside of this group, Schwartz claimed to have never had an argument. Despite the challenges they have faced together, he emphasized that their history is rooted in love.
Leading up to season 11, Schwartz admitted to feeling nervous, especially after the intense events of the season 10 reunion. However, he shared his intention to approach the new episodes with an optimistic perspective. Season 10 delved into the aftermath of Tom Sandoval's affair with Raquel Leviss and also explored Schwartz's life following his divorce from Maloney.
"I believe this has been a recurring theme throughout the previous season and past few years - the pursuit of rediscovering my Schwartz," he acknowledged in June. "However, through my experience in Stars on Mars, I came to realize that it had always been within me. It just required some excavation, refinement, and now I am essentially accomplishing what I intended to do - falling in love with myself once again."
Only time will reveal if his new blond hairstyle revives his Schwartz.
