Tom Schwartz's romantic relationships have captivated fans of Vanderpump Rules, particularly his love affair with Jo Wenberg following his breakup with Katie Maloney. Schwartz and Maloney went their separate ways in March 2022, with the split occurring just before Season 10 started filming. Later, Schwartz shocked viewers by getting together with Raquel Leviss at Scheana Shay and Brock Davies' wedding in August 2023, a mere five months after Maloney filed for divorce.
Following the news in March 2023 about Leviss having an affair with Tom Sandoval, there were speculations among fans and cast members about Schwartz possibly being involved. Maloney singled out a trip taken by Sandoval, Leviss, Schwartz, and Wenberg as possible evidence.
Schwartz denied using his kiss with Leviss to divert attention from her relationship with Sandoval, and he also defended his connection with Wenberg, which appeared to have developed after his encounter with Leviss.
"No, Jo was not my girlfriend, especially not at that time. It developed into a situationship or a friends with benefits relationship with clearly established boundaries," Schwartz stated in part 1 of the season 10 reunion, which aired in May 2023. "We were both coming out of long-term relationships and for a while, we were each other's source of happiness."

December 2022
Schwartz and Wenberg sparked romance rumors after Instagram footage surfaced of the duo at a concert.
February 2023
In an episode of Vanderpump Rules, Schwartz told Shay that Wenberg was crashing at his place. "[I haven't been romantic with Jo]. Not at all. Not even for a second. Jo's my friend," he said in a scene filmed in July 2022.
In that same month, Schwartz further explained his relationship with Wenberg, co-founder of TomTom.
"Jo is an incredible hairstylist and a beautiful person," he told We exclusively. "We're not living together or dating, but I deeply value her as a cool and amazing human being, and we're just enjoying each other's company."
At the time, Schwartz acknowledged that he wasn't ready for a serious relationship yet, stating, "I recently ended a 12-year relationship, so I'm not ready for commitment. It wouldn't be fair to the other person since I'm focused on my business, family, and rediscovering self-love."

Unaired footage from season 10 of Vanderpump Rules revealed how Maloney discovered Schwartz was living with Wenberg.
"When I went to Tom’s today to drop off the dogs, I found a toothbrush with lipstick on it and a pile of jewelry in the bathroom. I was like, what the heck is this? And he's just like, 'It's Jo's,'" she explained to Lala Kent and Leviss during a Never Before Seen edition of the popular Bravo series. "First of all, Kristen [Doute] is her best friend, so why isn't she staying at Kristen's place down the street?"
February 2023
A month later, Maloney used social media to indirectly criticize Wenberg, calling her "spooky" and comparing her energy to that of a crackhead. She also mentioned Wenberg's previous expression of love and support during Maloney's divorce announcement, labeling her as a "psycho" and threatening to harm her.
Additional footage revealed Schwartz talking about his former roommate, confessing, “I might have some feelings for her, but I'm choosing to keep that to myself as I recently ended a 12-year relationship, and I don't want to complicate things. So, it's my little secret... well, and now the whole country knows about it,” he shared with the cameras.

Schwartz came to Wenberg’s defense while addressing Maloney’s comments about the hairstylist at the Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion.
"Katie, refrain from making disparaging remarks about her. If you continue attacking her in the comments, you'll receive a cease and desist," he warned his ex-wife during the Bravo special.

In a video posted by a Bravo fan account, Wenberg was captured on camera with Schwartz, Tom Sandoval, James Kennedy and Ally Lewber. Maloney, on her end, responded in the comments, stating, "I can feel that energy from here. Yikes."
