The highly anticipated Tokyo Revengers season 4 has left anime fans on the edge of their seats Find out if there will be another thrilling season of this captivating series

Tokyo Revengers season 4 is highly anticipated by anime fans, especially after the dramatic ending of the Tenjiku Arc. Despite the clear indication of more story to be adapted, both LIDENFILMS and the anime's official sources have remained silent about a sequel season, leaving fans in suspense.

It is highly probable that there will be a fourth season of the Tokyo Revengers anime. Although there has been no official announcement from either LIDENFILMS or the anime's official sources regarding the production of the fourth season, the third season concluded with a cliffhanger.

With the passing of Kisaki Tetta, Takemichi had effectively accomplished his mission. Nevertheless, the anime portrayed his return to the future to observe the consequences of his actions in the past. Furthermore, it appeared that the anime did not allow Takemichi enough time to come to terms with Kisaki's death, as evidenced by his trembling hands after witnessing the gruesome demise.

It is highly likely that anime studio LIDENFILMS will produce Tokyo Revengers season 4, with an announcement expected in the coming months. Fans can anticipate the reveal to be made at AnimeJapan 2024, scheduled for late March of that year.

Additionally, despite the Tenjiku Arc not achieving the same level of audience as previous seasons, it has received high ratings from fans. The arc has an average rating of 7.9 stars on MyAnimeList, which is close to the rating of the first season, which was 7.95 stars.

When it comes to the source material, the manga series has released a total of 278 chapters. However, the anime has only covered up to chapter 185, which marks the conclusion of the Tenjiku Arc. This means that there are still 93 chapters from the manga that LIDENFILMS can use for Tokyo Revengers season 4 and beyond.

As a result, fans can anticipate the upcoming anime adaptations of the Bonten Arc, Three Deities Arc, and Kanto Manji Arc, which may lead to two or three additional seasons of the series. Ultimately, the decision will hinge on LIDENFILMS' approach to animating the remaining content. Additionally, there is a chance that all remaining chapters could be animated as part of Tokyo Revengers season 4 and released as two cours.

Editor's P/S

As a hard fan of Tokyo Revengers, I am eagerly anticipating the release of season 4. The third season left us with a major cliffhanger, and I can't wait to see what happens next. I'm especially excited to see how Takemichi deals with the death of Kisaki Tetta and the consequences of his actions in the past. I believe that there is still a lot of story to be told, and I'm confident that LIDENFILMS will do an amazing job adapting the remaining chapters of the manga.

I also appreciate the fact that the anime has remained faithful to the source material. The Tenjiku Arc was one of my favorite arcs in the manga, and I thought the anime did a great job of bringing it to life. I'm confident that the anime will continue to do justice to the manga in future seasons. Overall, I am very excited about the future of Tokyo Revengers and can't wait to see what season 4 has in store for us.
