Tokyo Revengers Season 3 Episode 9 kicked off with a flashback of young Smiley and Angry. Smiley comforted Angry and urged him to stop crying, also making him promise never to cry again. This poignant moment was a memory that Smiley held dear.

The Haitani brothers mercilessly beat Hakkai, causing Angry to break his promise. As Angry began to cry, he displayed his strength by single-handedly defeating the big fours of Tenjiku. Those who saw this transformation labeled him as a demon.

Kakucho intervened when a member ran towards Takemichy with a knife, stopping the attack. Yet, he then proceeded to take down each member of Toman, particularly Takemichy, leaving him heavily bleeding.
