MAPPA has recently unveiled the preview synopsis and images for the 12th episode of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2. Titled "Blunt Knife," this episode is scheduled to air on Thursday, October 12, 2023. The anime will initially be shown on NBS/TBS at 11:56 pm JST and will subsequently be available on various streaming platforms.

In the previous episode, Yuji, Megumi, and Takuma successfully located the curse users responsible for the chaos in Shibuya. While Yuji and Megumi triumphed over Jiro, Takuma engaged in a battle against Ogami's grandson. Unfortunately, Ogami transformed her grandson into Toji Zenin, resulting in Takuma's immediate defeat.

Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 episode 12 preview shows Nanami's first major battle in Shibuya

In the preview for episode 12 of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, it is clear that Nanami Kento is gearing up for his first major battle in Shibuya. After leaving Yuji and Megumi in the care of Takuma Ino, Nanami embarks on a mission to locate Ichiji. However, loyal fans are already aware that Ichiji has fallen victim to a brutal stabbing by Haruta Shigemo. Consequently, Nanami is bound to discover his friend lying unconscious on the ground.

Following that, fans can hope to see a fight between Nanami and Shigemo. That said, the majority of the fight could be skipped over to the next episode.

Yuji and Megumi may find Takuma

After their triumph over Jiro Awasaka, Yuji and Megumi have a strong chance of successfully bringing an end to the chaos in Shibuya. This would allow Jujutsu Sorcerers to finally gain access to the area. However, the defeat of Takuma Ino by Toji Zenin leaves a high possibility that Yuji and Megumi will come across a wounded Takuma as they attempt to regroup with him.

Nobara and Nitta may encounter Haruta Shigemo

Based on the preview synopsis, Maki tasks Kugisaki Nobara and Akari Nitta with visiting Kiyotaka Ichiji. However, during their mission, they will encounter a Curse user, likely to be Haruta Shigemo based on the similarities in their backgrounds shown in the previews.

Additionally, another preview image reveals that Kugisaki and Nitta have been defeated. As a result, fans can anticipate Haruta overpowering the two Sorcerers. Following this, Nanami Kento may join the battle, driven by a desire to seek revenge for his friend Ichiji. It is likely that Nanami will unleash his full power right from the start.

Mei Mei and Ui Ui may encounter an enemy

After discovering Gojo's condition, Yuji Itadori had separated from Mei Mei and Ui Ui. The anime has not provided any updates on the activities of the sibling duo since then. However, in Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 episode 12, it is probable that fans will witness Mei Mei and Ui Ui returning to the forefront. As Ui Ui's powers have yet to be showcased, viewers may catch a glimpse of his abilities.
