In the latest episode of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 (Episode 9), titled "Shibuya Incident Opening," we witness an intense battle between Gojo and Hanami, Jogo, Choso, and Mahito. After successfully exorcising Hanami, Gojo faces another challenge as Mahito arrives in Shibuya with a train filled with transfigured humans. In a desperate situation, Gojo unleashes his incredible 0.2 seconds Domain Expansion to immobilize the Curses, giving him the opportunity to eliminate the transfigured humans.
After the deed was done, Geto and the Prison Realm appeared before him, leaving Gojo in a state of shock. In that moment, as Gojo realized he had been defeated and trapped, he questioned the identity of the person standing before him. His soul simply couldn't fathom that this was the same Suguru Geto.
In a chilling response, Geto removed the stitches from his forehead and lifted the top half of his skull, unveiling a speaking brain inside. This brain, known as Kenjaku, was revealed to have taken over Geto's body. It became clear that Gojo had failed to dispose of Geto's body, allowing Kenjaku to steal it. As Kenjaku bid Gojo farewell, a Mechamaru drone flew to Yuji, informing him about the sealing process.
