Serving as the third limited-time location in Genshin Impact's annual summer updates, Veluriyam Mirage follows the Golden Apple Archipelago from Version 1.6 and its reconstructed version in Version 2.8. Similar to these previous events, Version 3.8 transports players away from Teyvat's mainland into a realm of enchantment, fun, and valuable treasures. These limited-time locations offer a refreshing change of pace from the game's main content, attracting many Genshin Impact players.
In the initial event featuring the Golden Apple Archipelago, players were introduced to tropical islands and had the chance to interact with beloved characters. The second Golden Apple Archipelago event took it a step further, allowing players to explore new islands featuring unique domains tailored to characters like Kaedehara Kazuha, Xinyan, Fischl, and Mona. Veluriyam Mirage offers a completely new and fantastical setting, where players can enjoy games, puzzles, and even roller coasters. While these limited-time maps and accompanying story quests offer enjoyable and wholesome experiences, the drawback is that they are only accessible for a single update.

These events, considered some of the best, should have a longer lifespan and be accessible to all players who missed out on them.
To incorporate both versions of the Golden Apple Archipelago and Veluriyam Mirage into the game, they could be added in a similar manner as Enkanomiya and The Chasm. While these permanent additions are separate from the general map of Teyvat, they offer a main story quest, ample exploration opportunities, and hidden treasures. Given their smaller scale in comparison to established Teyvat nations like Inazuma and Sumeru, it is feasible for the Golden Apple Archipelago and Bottleland to be included in the base game.
Genshin Impact's Limited-Time Locations Need to be Perfect Imitations of Their Original Versions
The idea of bringing back the Golden Apple Archipelago and Veluriyam Mirage in Genshin Impact is exciting, but there are a few concerns. The event quests tied to these limited-time locations should be faithfully replicated without any omissions. This means that Hoyoverse should not remove any elements, such as voice acting and cutscenes, that were present in the original events. Additionally, Hoyoverse should ensure that all exploration rewards from the original events, such as Primogems, materials, and Serenitea Pot decorations, are still obtainable.
Furthermore, it should be possible for players to earn the limited-time Genshin Impact skins that were previously available during the summer updates. This includes Fischl's character outfit, "Ein Immernachtstraum," which was obtainable in Version 2.8, and Kaeya's new skin, "Sailwind Shadow," which will be available until the end of Version 3.8. Ultimately, bringing back the Golden Apple Archipelago and Veluriyam Mirage events should recreate the original experiences, allowing players who missed out on them to enjoy them just as much as others.
