Payday is making a comeback, offering players more thrilling action and distractions. In the third mission of the game, players will be tasked with surveilling a high-end jewelry store, brimming with valuable loot. To get their hands on the prime loot during Payday 3's Dirty Ice mission, players must obtain a QR code from one of the phones scattered throughout the map and unlock the doors to the VIP Showroom.
Within the showroom, players will find an assortment of precious jewels and luxurious jewelry encased in locked display cases. However, triggering the alarm system will cause the more valuable loot to become inaccessible. To secure the loot, players must figure out a way to bypass the PIN-locked doors leading to the basement and deactivate the lockdown switch in the storage room located downstairs.
Basement PIN Code
The PIN for the basement area doors will be locked using a randomly generated PIN that will be different for each heist attempt. In order to discover the PIN, players must access the manager's office and hack into the computer to gain entry to the manager's e-mail correspondence. Within one of the e-mails, it will be mentioned that the PIN has recently been changed and can now be found somewhere on the map. By reading the e-mail, players will learn the inspiration behind the new code, as it will subtly reveal that the PIN is already displayed in one of three locations within the store:
- The VIP Showroom, specifically in the VIP Room above the storage containers.
The PIN is identical to the employee of the month's ID number, which is displayed on the employee of the month plaque located in the main showroom.
The PIN matches the office Wi-Fi password, which is written on the whiteboard in the lunchroom situated across the hall from the manager's office and VIP Showroom.
Find the PIN and input it on either of the two locked doors to gain access to the basement.
In the Basement
In the main section of the basement, there is a guard patrolling around. Players will need to avoid two cameras strategically placed in the area. One camera surveys the middle part of the room, constantly rotating its focus between the basement exit leading to the alleyway and the door to the storage room. The other camera keeps an eye on the entrances to the security room. The guard will take turns positioning themselves near the security room door, the storage room door, and the corner next to the stairs that lead up to the jewelry store's main floor.
In order to progress, players must traverse through the basement towards the storage room where they will need to skillfully pick the lock. Upon successfully gaining entry, they will discover the red vault key card, a secure safe containing crucial documents that are pivotal to the game's story, and a breaker box situated on the right wall that can be interacted with. By flipping the switch on the breaker box, players will successfully disable the alarm in the VIP Showroom, granting them the ability to pick the locks on the displays and gather valuable loot.
