The Ultimate Necromancer Unique Items Tier List for Diablo 4

In Diablo 4, players have the opportunity to obtain various rare loot, but none are more coveted than uniques. These items offer significantly more powerful affixes than rare or legendary gear, and can even alter a class' play style with effects that cannot be found on any other items. Consequently, players will strive to obtain these ultra rare items specific to their class, with the Necromancer having access to particularly potent unique gear that can elevate their class skills to their fullest potential. However, obtaining unique weapons and armor in Diablo 4 is no easy feat. Uniques only have a chance to drop once players reach World Tier 3, and even then, they are extremely rare, making farming for them a time-consuming task. Nevertheless, the rewards are well worth the effort, as some of these uniques possess game-changing properties.

S-Tier

The Blood Artisan's Cuirass is a highly coveted item for the Necromancer in Diablo 4 due to its dual offensive and defensive boosts. Its unique affix allows players to summon a Bone Spirit for free every time they pick up between 10-5 Blood Orbs, an exceptional value for a normally Essence-consuming skill. This item also enhances the Necromancer's overall armor, damage output, and healing with each Blood Orb collected, making it a versatile and formidable choice for any playstyle.

As for the Black River scythe, it is the perfect weapon to pair with the Necromancer's Corpse Explosion skill, as it amplifies the potency and range of the skill. Additionally, it boasts several affixes catered towards Diablo 4's Lucky Hit mechanic, as well as an increase in attack speed for Corpse skills.

For players who specialize in the Necromancer's Bone skills, the Deathless Visage helm is a must-have for the build. Not only does it amplify critical strike damage for Bone skills, but it also introduces a unique effect to Bone Spear, allowing the spear to produce echoes that detonate after a brief period. This affix not only enhances one of the best skills in the game, but also grants a bonus to the player's armor, physical damage, and maximum Essence.

The Greaves of the Empty Tomb are ideal for Necromancer builds that prioritize Darkness skills. Its unique affix enhances the Sever skill by creating desecrated ground underneath the specters it produces, causing damage to enemies. Moreover, the Greaves of the Empty Tomb grant the Lucky Hit effect, dealing Shadow damage over time and reducing damage taken from enemies who are receiving Shadow damage. B-Tier

The Bloodless Scream, a two-handed scythe, may not be a top choice among unique weapons, but it certainly has its uses. While niche in its effects, it can greatly aid in crowd control for those utilizing Darkness skills. In fact, it even adds the Chill status to all skills of this type, much like the Greaves of the Empty Tomb. Its other affixes further support this ability, offering increased damage to Chilled and Frozen enemies, enhancing Darkness skill damage, and boosting Cold resistance. As such, the Bloodless Scream can prove to be a valuable asset for a specific type of Diablo 4 Necromancer build.

The Deathspeaker's Pendant proves to be a valuable asset for Necromancers with weaker areas such as Blood skills and minions. Its unique attribute enhances the Blood Surge skill, causing a mini nova around minions, extending the range of the skill, and dealing damage per target drained by the initial cast. Moreover, the pendant amplifies the damage done by minions and Blood skills, improves healing, and adds ranks to Coalesced Blood. However, despite these benefits, Diablo 4's minions still remain relatively weak, and the pendant's buffs do not contribute enough to enhance their usefulness.

C-Tier

The Ring of Mendeln may not be the most powerful unique gear for Necromancers in Diablo 4, but it still offers a valuable buff to minions. This ring's Lucky Hit chance affix can significantly increase the attack of minions by creating explosions that deal physical damage. However, this affix only works when at least seven minions are summoned by the player. Other affixes on the Ring of Mendeln provide additional benefits to minion health and attack speed, but these become less useful once the player decides to sacrifice their skeletal companions.
