The holidays seem to arrive more quickly every year, thanks in part to the early airing of festive films on television.
This year, Hallmark Media will begin its annual "Countdown to Christmas" on the Hallmark Channel on Friday, October 20. Additionally, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will launch its "Miracles of Christmas" programming on Thursday, October 26.
Brennan Elliott and Nikki DeLoach called this year's lineup "a delightful holiday indulgence for those with a sweet tooth." They playfully explored a candy-coated sweet shop that could easily belong in a Hallmark movie.
Great American Media excited fans by advancing the premiere date of Great American Christmas by one week to Friday, October 14. The first new feature would start the next day. "YOU are personally invited to the most heartwarming holiday experience on television!" announced Candace Cameron Bure on Instagram, revealing the date change on Thursday, October 12.
Lifetime and Netflix, among other streaming sites, have yet to announce their new seasonal movies.

Every year the holidays seem to come a little faster — and that is partly thanks to all the festive films that begin airing on TV months before the season really starts.
Hallmark Media is set to launch its annual "Countdown to Christmas" on Hallmark Channel on Friday, October 20th this year. Similarly, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will commence its "Miracles of Christmas" programming on Thursday, October 26th. Brennan Elliott and Nikki DeLoach, while visiting a delightful candy-coated sweet shop, shared their excitement for this year's lineup, describing it as "the perfect holiday treat for those craving something sweet."
Great American Media has unexpectedly decided to advance the premiere date of its highly anticipated Great American Christmas to Friday, October 14, a week earlier than originally planned. Excitement is building as the first new feature will kick off the following day. Candace Cameron Bure took to Instagram on Thursday, October 12, to announce the date change with a thrilling message: "Get ready to be a part of the most heartwarming holiday experience on television!"
