Vigilante plot: What is the K-drama about?

A dedicated student at the police academy, Kim Ji-yong (Nam) becomes aware of the flaws in the justice system. Fueled by a desire for justice, he takes on the persona of a vigilante, operating at night to hold criminals accountable. Kim Ji-yong's motivation stems from witnessing his mother's brutal murder by a thug during his childhood. Despite the criminal receiving only a short sentence, Ji-yong encounters him again as an adult, discovering that the man remains unchanged.

Filled with rage, he mercilessly thrashes him. From that moment on, Ji-yong adopts an alter ego - a model student by day, devoted to upholding the law, and a vigilante by night.
