Robbie Amell as Nathan Brown

Robbie Amell, known for his roles as Connor Reed in Code 8, Max in The Babysitter films, Chris Redfield in Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, and Ronnie Raymond in The Flash TV series, portrays Nathan Brown in the series Upload. Playing a 27-year-old computer engineer, Nathan was developing a digital afterlife accessible to all before he was tragically murdered. In the conclusion of Upload season 2, Nathan successfully transfers his consciousness into a body secretly grown by Ingrid. Simultaneously, a backup version of Nathan is restored in Lakeview. However, the longevity of his new physical form remains uncertain. Moreover, in the year 2023, Robbie Amell takes on the role of Gallatin in season 3 of The Witcher.

Andy Allo as Nora Antony

Portraying Nora Antony, an employee at Horizen who works in customer service for Lakeview, Andy Allo brings depth and emotion to her character. Initially, Nora served as Nathan's "angel," but as time went on, a profound connection grew between them, leading to a deep love. Season 2 saw Nora reuniting with Nathan after spending time with the Ludds, allowing them to finally be physically together. However, their journey is far from over as they continue to face challenges. In addition to her role as Nora, Andy Allo has showcased her acting talent in projects such as Pitch Perfect 3, where she played Serenity, and Chicago Fire, where she portrayed Lt. Wendy Seager. Not limited to acting, Andy Allo is also a gifted singer and songwriter. In fact, in 2011, she joined Prince's renowned band, The New Power Generation.

Allegra Edwards as Ingrid Kannerman

Allegra Edwards portrays Ingrid Kannerman, Nathan's materialistic and self-centered girlfriend. In an effort to continue their relationship even after his passing, Ingrid cunningly convinces Nathan to have himself uploaded under her family's data plan. However, their romance comes to an end when Nathan discovers Ingrid's deceit and decides to break up with her once again. Despite their broken relationship, Ingrid agrees to assist Nora and the others in downloading Nathan into his new body. Prior to her role in Upload, Allegra Edwards had made brief appearances in popular shows such as Modern Family, New Girl, The Mindy Project, and Orange Is the New Black.

Zainab Johnson portrays Aleesha, a customer service representative at Lakeview and a close friend of Nora. In season 2 of Upload, Aleesha receives a promotion and recruits a temporary assistant to assist her in her angelic responsibilities. Additionally, she aids Nora and Nathan in their efforts to investigate his murder. Zainab Johnson was a contestant on season 8 of Last Comic Standing, appeared in the HBO special All Def Comedy, and served as a co-host on Netflix's 100 Humans.

Kevin Bigley as Luke

Kevin Bigley portrays the character of Luke, a war veteran who tragically lost both of his legs and uploaded himself before his demise. Luke develops a friendship with Nathan in Lakeview and considers him to be his closest companion, yet he struggles with forming emotional bonds. Despite being used for comedic effect, Luke carries a significant amount of unresolved trauma. In addition to his role in Lakeview, Kevin Bigley has also been seen in films such as The Dilemma and The Wretched, and he portrayed the character Brian Czyk in Sirens.

Owen Daniels as A.I. Guy: Lakeview’s virtual employee who is pretty much everywhere serving the uploads. Owen Daniels played Obie Hanrahan in Space Force.

Mackenzie Cardwell portrayed Tinsley, Aleesha's temporary substitute, in season 2. Previously, Mackenzie Cardwell had minor roles in popular TV shows such as Supernatural and Almost Human.

Josh Banday played the character of Ivan, Nora's colleague at Horizen and an undercover agent for the Ludds. His previous acting credits include minor roles in well-known series like The Big Bang Theory, You Get Me, Mom, Murderville, and Pam & Tommy.

Jeanine Mason portrays Karina Silva, a Horizen executive overseeing the domains of new product development and cybersecurity. Previously, she appeared as Merav in Of Kings and Prophets, Dr. Sam Bello in Grey's Anatomy, and Liz Ortecho in Roswell, New Mexico.

Andrea Rosen enacts the character of Lucy, the superior of Nora, Aleesha, Ivan, and Tinsley at Horizen. Prior to this role, Rosen has featured in Rescue Me and Episodes.

William B. Davis as David Choak: one of the wealthiest uploads in Lakeview and the one who ordered Nathan’s murder. William B. Davis is best known for playing The Smoking Man in The X-Files.
