Leicester cruise past woeful Southampton
Leicester romped past Southampton as they cruised to a 4-1 victory at St Mary's on Friday night.
Jamie Vardy swiftly put the Foxes ahead in a mere 21 seconds, and Southampton's inadequate defense allowed Kasey McAteer to extend their lead before the midway point of the first half. Samuel Edozie managed to score one for the Saints, but Wilfried Ndidi restored the two-goal advantage in added time. Stephy Mavdidi then secured the victory at the 67-minute mark.

Southampton's night turned out to be yet another exasperating one as they ended the match with only 10 players due to a red card shown to Kamaldeen Sulemana in the dying moments. On the other hand, Leicester regained their position at the summit of the Championship, at least for a duration of 24 hours.A South Wales derby with something to prove
A fixture that previously had a balanced reputation for being evenly contested, has significantly tilted towards Swansea in recent years. Prior to two seasons ago, neither of these rival teams from South Wales had ever achieved a double victory over the other in almost a century of attempts. However, Swansea has now triumphed in four consecutive matches and has not experienced a defeat at the Cardiff City Stadium in the past decade.

Changes might be on the horizon for the upcoming weekend. The Swans' inability to secure a victory since the arrival of their new manager, Michael Duff, contrasts with the reinvigorated spirit surrounding Cardiff. Though the season began less than ideally for the latter, the resurgence is spearheaded by the comeback of Aaron Ramsey.
In addition to the fact that it begins just an hour or so after Wales plays in the Rugby World Cup, anticipate an incredible display of fireworks in the capital.
