Many of the side quests in Hogwarts Legacy revolve around simple fetch quests, where players are required to go to a specific location, defeat enemies, and return to the quest-giver with a designated item or Beast. However, there are a few side quests that cater to puzzle enthusiasts, such as "The Hall of Herodiana."

Players gain access to "The Hall of Herodiana" after meeting Sebastian in Feldcroft and can initiate the quest by speaking to a Ravenclaw student named Sophronia Franklin near the Charms classroom. She introduces the intriguing character of Herodiana Byren, an exceptionally skilled witch in the use of the Depulso spell. Players are then challenged to solve several puzzles within a hidden chamber nearby.

How to Complete the First Puzzle in The Hall of Herodiana

Hogwarts Legacy's Hall of Herodiana offers an exhilarating challenge for puzzle enthusiasts. Once players accept the quest from a Ravenclaw student, they will venture into a concealed chamber and face a series of mind-boggling puzzles. These intricately designed Depulso-themed brainteasers can be quite perplexing. After initiating the quest, players are advised to make their way to the designated quest marker. There, they should cast Depulso on the door in order to gain entry into the Hall of Herodiana. Once inside, they will encounter unique blocks that can be moved by means of Accio and Depulso. In the initial chamber, the objective is simply to move the blocks towards the exit using Depulso. Following this, players can ascend the ledge. At the top, they will discover a chest that contains the coveted cosmetic item, Herodiana's Cape.

How to Complete the Second Puzzle in The Hall of Herodiana

In the second chamber, players are advised to employ the spell Accio in order to bring the two blocks on the right side towards the left side. Afterward, they should utilize Depulso to push the newly formed stack of three blocks towards the exit of the chamber.

Subsequently, utilizing Accio once again, players should pull the blocks back to the right side. This will enable them to ascend and exit the chamber, granting them access to the chest that contains Herodiana's Attire.

While it is technically possible to utilize the blocks to reach a small chest above the entrance to the second chamber, it may be considered a waste of time due to the randomization mechanics of chests in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to Complete the Third Puzzle in The Hall of Herodiana

Similar to the previous chamber, the third puzzle room in the Hall of Herodiana features a bonus chest. However, it is not recommended to expend the effort to obtain it. Instead, players should focus on solving the puzzle. To start, utilize Accio to pull the blocks towards the right and then employ Depulso to push them towards the spinning sphere. Subsequently, use Accio again to move the blocks to the left side of the chamber and utilize them as a means to climb over to the far wall.

To reset the position of the moveable blocks in Hogwarts Legacy, players should first cast a regular spell at the spinning sphere. Then, they should use Accio to pull the blocks over towards the wall near the exit. Next, players should utilize Depulso to push the blocks to the wall on the right, opposite their current position. After that, casting Accio will help in pulling the blocks to the right, ensuring that they touch the block with the spinning sphere. To complete the process, players simply need to use Accio again to pull the blocks over to their own location and then utilize Depulso once more to push them towards the wall near the exit.

Ascending and reaching the final treasure chest enables players to obtain Herodiana's Cap, which is a cosmetic item used to personalize specific Gear pieces. Upon exiting the chamber through the front door, players should return to Sophronia to complete the quest. At this juncture, they will have the option to demonstrate the outfit to her, keep it discreetly, or reveal it for a fee. Regardless of their decision, players will retain the three cosmetic items and earn 180 XP.

Are There Any Other Depulso Puzzles in Hogwarts Legacy?

Players can discover two additional Depulso puzzle rooms in Hogwarts Legacy by exploring the castle.
