Carbink made its debut in Pokemon X/Y and has been a consistent feature in all mainline games since Generation 6. Although it was not initially included in the base game of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, the Teal Mask DLC reintroduced Carbink, allowing trainers to once again obtain it. Some trainers may choose to use Carbink in battles, while others may seek to catch it solely for completing their Pokedex.
Unfortunately, locating Carbink's spawn point proves challenging in Scarlet/Violet's Teal Mask. Players who fail to pay attention to their surroundings may easily overlook the spot where Carbink is hiding. To discover this Jewel Pokemon, players should start by heading towards the center/peak of the Kitakami map.
How to Get Carbink
Players must hike up Oni Mountain to reach Crystal Pool, an area that is required for trainers progressing The Teal Mask's story. However, this area can be accessed at any time. To successfully reach Crystal Pool, players will need the high jump ability of Koraidon/Miraidon, or even better, the glide ability. Trainers will unlock the high jump ability first in the Path of Legends main quest, while the glide ability is the final ability to be unlocked. Having just the high jump ability will require trainers to jump from ledge to ledge and time their jumps carefully inside Oni's Mountain. Therefore, it is highly recommended to obtain the glide ability, even though finding the last Herba Mystica in Path of Legends may take some time.
