What to Know About Immortals of Aveum's Story

Set in the world of Aveum, Immortals of Aveum follows Jak, an orphan who, despite lacking magical abilities in his early life, has developed them later on. As the game begins, players are thrust into the Everwar, a long-lasting conflict between the five kingdoms of Aveum, all vying for control over the planet's powerful magical essence known as the Wound. Situated in the heart of a deep chasm, this magical source serves as the focal point of the conflict.

By the time players assume control of Jak, the Everwar has raged on for countless years, leaving only two kingdoms standing: Lucium and Rasharn. Being Jak's home, he aligns himself with Lucium, much to the dissent of the older magical elites. However, Jak defies their expectations and is accepted into the Order of Immortals - the elite magical forces of Lucium.

It is revealed that Jak is a Triarch Magnus, an exceptionally rare sorcerer with the ability to harness all three distinct types of Aveum magic, each associated with a distinct blue, green, or red hue. Alongside his fellow Immortals, Jak must band together to save Lucium from the clutches of the malevolent Rasharn leader, Sandrakk, and put an end to his nefarious schemes.

Immortals of Aveum combines first-person shooter mechanics with light RPG elements. In the game, players will engage in intense battles in arenas, utilizing a variety of magical abilities. With a total of 25 unique spells to unlock, players can unleash offensive attacks like magical shotgun bursts or machine gun fire, as well as powerful abilities such as homing missiles and shockwaves. Additionally, defensive spells are available to block and parry incoming attacks. By skillfully stringing together these magical spells, players can execute devastatingly stylish combos.
