In Diablo 4, the endgame component has been significantly expanded from its predecessors, providing players with an abundance of loot to grind and demons to defeat even after completing the main campaign. Upon reaching Level 50, players can access the Paragon Board, which introduces a new progression system that offers immense potential for buildcrafting and adaptability. With the Paragon Board, players can enhance their builds by incorporating additional stats and modifiers that rival Legendary Aspects. Each board, except the initial one, offers a potent passive that can significantly alter the gameplay of a character. However, players must first unlock these new boards before they can further customize their builds.
How to Get More Paragon Boards in Diablo 4
After reaching the Board Attachment Gate, players can invest their Paragon Points into the Board of their choice and unlock nodes that enhance their character's abilities and playstyle. These Boards offer up to eight options, each with a Legendary Node that provides unique benefits such as increased Fury generation or increased damage to bleeding enemies for Barbarians. By strategically choosing which nodes to unlock, players can further customize their characters to suit their preferred playstyle.
Once a board has been selected, players can proceed to the next step by clicking on the "Preview" button. This will take them to a new screen where they can choose where to allocate their Paragon Points on the board. It's important to consider the character's current build and select a starting point that's closest to a valuable Rare node. This will ensure that the Paragon Points are spent effectively and contribute to the character's overall progress.
Players can unlock additional Paragon Boards by making their way towards the three different Board Attachment Gates located on each edge of every board. Along the way, players can earn up to four Paragon Points per level, with one point earned at the beginning and three more earned as they progress towards the next level. These points can be invested into any connected node that's already unlocked. If players want to try a different Paragon Board, they can refund all active nodes and remove the Board Attachment Gate to experiment with a new board that better fits their build.
Diablo 4 launches on June 6 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
