These buffs and bonuses can make all the difference when it comes to surviving the game's later stages, which is why it's essential to obtain them as early as possible. As such, players should make it a priority to seek out Altars of Lilith and clear dungeons for their Legendary Aspects right from the start.

Find Altars of Lilith Dotted Around Sanctuary

Diablo 4 introduces a fresh mechanic in the form of Altars of Lilith, which are statues dedicated to the Mother of Demons and are scattered throughout the game's map. When a player discovers and activates one of these altars, their stats, such as Murmuring Obol Capacity, Dexterity, Intelligence, Willpower, or Strength, receive a permanent boost. This enables players to begin the game on a strong note and build up their character's stats through such bonuses, which can make leveling in the early hours of the game much more manageable and have a significant impact when approaching the endgame.

With a whopping 160 Altars of Lilith to uncover in Diablo 4, each activation can provide a significant stat boost that players would be wise to utilize. In order to acquire Legendary Aspects, players can either obtain them by clearing a dungeon or extract them from an existing legendary item.

Once a player has obtained their desired Legendary Aspect and reached level 25, they can approach the Occultist to imprint the Aspect onto their gear. However, this service comes with a high price tag, so it is recommended to start saving gold early on and plan which Aspect should be imprinted onto which gear for maximum cost efficiency.
