Revamped Druid Class in Diablo 4: Shape-Shift and ConquerDruid, a fan-favorite class known for its shape-shifting abilities, has finally made a comeback in Diablo 4 after a long hiatus. With the ability to transform into various forms and annihilate swarms of enemies, Druid is a force to be reckoned with. But that's not all - players can also cast deadly spells even while in human form, adding an extra layer of versatility to this already formidable class.
Pulverize Build
Planning ahead for skills and passives is crucial for Druid players as they progress through the levels. Building synergy is key for an efficient and effective leveling experience, particularly when working towards the Capstone Dungeon at endgame. Luckily, there are some great early game Druid builds in Diablo 4 that can help players on their journey.
Players looking for an effective leveling build early on can focus on the Pulverize skill and increase damage output while in Werebear form. This build also provides a defense mechanism that reduces damage taken while in Werebear form, along with an improved critical strike chance against nearby enemies. For added convenience during boss fights, the build includes defensive abilities and quick health restoration methods. To maximize the benefits of this build, it is highly recommended to level up the Pulverize skill instead of leaving it at its base level. Here is the full build for reference.
Poison Build
For the fourth fragment, we have Pulverize (5/5), Enhanced Pulverize, and Raging Pulverize. These abilities allow the player to deal massive damage to their enemies with a powerful strike. With the enhanced and raging versions of Pulverize, the damage output is increased even further. These abilities can be essential for taking down tough opponents quickly.
Unlike the previous build that relied on Werebear form, this build prioritizes the Werewolf form and poison-related abilities. The result is an incredibly powerful build that allows players to immobilize and eliminate entire packs of enemies within seconds. What's more, the fully-upgraded Rabies skill can clear out an entire room in no time. This build not only deals significant damage over time and powerful critical hits, but also offers some basic survivability. Here are the essential skills that players need to master for this build.
Storm Strike (1/5), Enhanced Storm Strike and Fierce Storm Strike are powerful abilities that allow the player to deal increased damage to their targets. Shred (5/5), Enhanced Shred and Raging Shred are also useful abilities that can quickly take down enemies. Predatory Instinct (3/3) and Digitigrade Gait (1/3) improve the player's movement and agility, while Heart of the Wild (1/3) and Abundance (3/3) enhance their survivability. Wild Impulses (3/3) provides a boost to their critical hit chance, and Earthen Bulwark (1/5), Enhanced Earthen Bulwark and Preserving Earthen Bulwark increase their defenses. Ancestral Fortitude (3/3) gives the player a powerful self-healing ability, while Poison Creeper (1/5), Enhanced Poison Creeper and Ferocious Poison Creeper allow them to poison their enemies. Wolves (1/5), Enhanced Wolves and Ferocious Wolves provide additional damage and attack speed, and Call of the Wild (3/3) can summon powerful beasts to fight alongside the player. Finally, Rabies (5/5), Enhanced Rabies and Natural Rabies allow the player to inflict a deadly disease upon their foes. Defensive Posture (1/3), Quick Shift (3/3), Heightened Senses (3/3) and Lupine Ferocity are also valuable abilities that can aid the player in combat.
Landslide Build
This particular build stands out from the rest as it doesn't rely on shape-shifting abilities, unlike the others. Instead, it maximizes the power of the Landslide skill while simultaneously leveraging several companion skills to deliver powerful blows to enemies. With a focus on boosting the damage of all skills, including companions, players can swiftly take down large groups of foes. Although it takes longer to set up, the Landslide build packs a serious punch. Here's how it looks:
